With the development of technology and the acceleration of urbanization,smart cities have become the new direction of modern city development.Among them,smart water affairs is an important part of realizing a smart city.The traditional tap water supply management mode is that the staff of the tap water company keeps manual records on a house-by-house basis,which has a high cost of manpower management.As a traditional monitoring data,water meter data is particularly important to realize remote intelligent collection and information storage.Most of the current mature remote measurement technologies are implemented by electronic sensors,which cannot resove the problem of power supply,strong magnetic interference and monitor in harsh environments.Because of the passive measurement,fear of strong electromagnetic interference and long-distance transmission,optical fiber sensing technology is widely used in the field of sensing.In particular,sensors made with fiber Bragg gratings have the advantages of small size,long life,and high sensitivity,and can meet the measurement needs of a variety of physical quantities.Therefore,it is of practical value to reseach a water measurement device and a remote monitoring and management system witch can passively measure without fear of harsh environmental interference.Compared with traditional manual and electronic water meter,optical fiber sensing technology is more practical to achieve remote passive water consumption information collection.It alse combines with the intelligent management of data management system.Based on the optical fiber sensing technology,this paper researches on water meter information collection and monitoring management of traditional method.And we also design and implement the fiber optic water measuring device and corresponding data management system.The main research work results of the paper are as follows:1.Designed a water volume measurement scheme based on fiber Bragg grating to detect heating resistance temperature,a fiber Bragg grating stress water measurement scheme based on cantilever beam and a water volume measurement scheme based on laser reflection detection.The three schemes are analyzed,and a more feasible solution for fiber Bragg grating stress water measurement based on cantilever beam is selected.2.We designed a water volume measurement scheme based on fiber Bragg grating to detect the temperature of heating resistance.And the fiber Bragg grating stress water measurement scheme based on cantilever beam.Water volume measurement scheme based on laser reflection detection.The three schemes are analyzed,and a more feasible solution for fiber Bragg grating stress water measurement based on cantilever beam is selected.3.Using the JAVA program development language and SQLserver2012 database to develop a data management system for the fiber-optic grating water volume measuring device based on cantilever.By processing the program while the computer is added,a visual system interface is added to build a more friendly human-computer interaction system to improve the efficiency,reliability and feasibility of the system in practical applications.
