As the "heart" of internal combustion engine,the quality of piston is directly related to the running condition of the whole engine,so it is particularly important to timely detect the key dimensions of piston.At present,the piston has basically realized the full-automatic production and processing,but the detection of the piston in the production line is still manual sampling,the detection efficiency is slow,and the full-automatic production in the real sense has not been realized.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a high efficiency,high precision,practical piston on-line detection equipment.First of all,according to the on-site production line piston detection mode,the contact sensor measurement method,equipment detection items and detection accuracy and other technical indicators are selected.This paper puts forward the overall design scheme of the piston on-line detection machine.The design scheme is divided into the bed support part,the transmission part,the piston groove bottom measurement part,the piston pin hole and compression height detection part and the piston outer part by using the modular idea Circle measuring part,etc.Design and calculate the components and select the main parts to verify the rationality of mechanical structure design.Then,according to the overall equipment design scheme,complete the 3D modeling and virtual assembly of the on-line inspection machine,complete the conversion design of 3D model and 2D drawing of all parts,pneumatic schematic design,the summary of purchase list of standard parts and purchased parts,and complete the mechanical assembly of the equipment prototype.After that,the hardware framework and network configuration of the equipment control system are analyzed,and the data processing unit with industrial computer as the core,sensors as the acquisition tool,and the logic movement unit with EtherCAT as the measurement and control unit are designed.Using the C#development environment of vs2013 software development platform,the design of control program,measurement data acquisition and calculation and human-computer interaction interface are completed.Finally,after the mechanical and electrical assembly of the prototype,the equipment is debugged,and the test data are analyzed and summarized by MSA.Three groups of measurement data,including pin hole diameter,cylindrical diameter and compression height,are selected for data analysis by repeatability and reproducibility analysis.In the three groups of data analysis table,the Gage R&R value is less than 10%,which belongs to the acceptable range,and the NDC value is greater than 5,which proves that the measuring system of the detector is stable and reliable.
