Jingdezhen imperial kiln began in Yuan set up "Fuliang porcelain bureau" until the Ming and Qing dynasties to establish supervision,production in one of the imperial kiln factory(Ming named the imperial ware factory)has been more than six hundred years.Till the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty,the imperial kiln factory has been the central place of the porcelain industry in Jingdezhen.According to archaeological excavations,the area of the Imperial Ware Factory site in the Ming Dynasty was about 54,300 square meters,while the northern boundary of the Imperial Kiln Factory site in the Qing Dynasty was reduced compared to the Ming Dynasty,with an area of about 52,500 square meters.The imperial kiln site of the Ming and Qing dynasties dominated the center of the old town of Jingdezhen,and it can be said that the establishment of the imperial kiln factory of the Ming and Qing dynasties made the porcelain making process of Jingdezhen a brilliant achievement and promoted the development of the urban pattern of Jingdezhen.The imperial kiln factory was rebuilt several times during the Qing Dynasty,and the images and text materials from Jiaqing to Guangxu record more detailed the changes of the imperial kiln factory and the natural and cultural landscape.Consequently,this paper mainly research on the spatial pattern of the landscape of the imperial kiln factory in the late Qing dynasty,with a documentary research and fieldwork approach.Firstly,this paper composes the textual and pictorial descriptions of the landscape space of the Imperial Kiln Factory in the relevant ancient books,paintings and calligraphy of Jingdezhen during the Ming and Qing dynasties.Focusing on the analysis of the "Imperial Kiln Factory Picture" recorded in the "Jingdezhen Taolu" in the Jiaqing Period and the "Blue and White Imperial Kiln Factory Picture Porcelain Plate Painting" in the Tongzhi Period.The two pictures are the most direct description of the internal space composition of the Imperial Kiln Factory and the Qing Dynasty.The image of Jingdezhen’s urban scene in the later period;Secondly,this paper conducts field mapping of the site of the Royal Kiln Factory and its surrounding historical streets.This includes the completion of the inference of the layout of the buildings and landscape composition of the official buildings and workshops inside the Imperial Kiln Factory in the late Qing Dynasty based on scientific and rational reasoning and artistic design techniques;Finally,this paper establishes a three-dimensional model of the landscape space of the Imperial Kiln Factory in the late Qing Dynasty,including the presentation of the reproduction design scheme.It is a solution to the dilemma that there is no historical image of the imperial kiln factory in the late Qing Dynasty by recreating the landscape space on the basis of complying with historical materials. |
