With the change and development of the times and modern social concepts,children’s emotional and educational needs in the process of growth have become a hot issue of public concern.As a key part of 3-12-year-old children’s daily life,the design of parent-child activities requires us to understand children’s psychological and behavioral characteristics,master the design points of diversified parent-child space,not only take the children group as the object of service and design,but also integrate the accompanying parents and their guardians into the interactive experience design.To create a multi-functional parent-child interactive experience hall integrating education,entertainment and interaction in the way of education and entertainment.First of all,this article summarizes the domestic and foreign theoretical research on child development,parent-child interaction,and experiential space,and elaborates the purpose and significance of the subject research,as well as the research objects and methods.Secondly,by analyzing relevant domestic and foreign cases of children’s activity space,parent-child interaction space and experience activity space,extracting design techniques that can be used for reference.Thirdly,conduct field investigations and questionnaire surveys on the project site,clarify the importance of experiential space for children’s growth,and summarize the design principles and element application of parent-child interactive space.Finally,the relevant parent-child interaction space design strategies summarized are applied to the design of this project.It is planned to use "forest" and "nature" as conceptual themes,and extract relevant elements such as big trees,clouds,water drops,animal shapes and so on.Starting with children’s visual and tactile perception,regional divisions are made through colors,shapes,combined with design positioning,and guide children to spontaneously integrate into the experiential learning environment.The design of this project aims to provide children and parents with experiential activities and venues,promote emotional communication and interaction between parents and children,and provide case references for the design and research of future parent-child indoor activity spaces.
