The utility tunnel is an underground space integrating various pipelines such as power,communication,gas and water supply and drainage.It is an important infrastructure to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the city.It is of great significance to monitor the environment of the utility tunnel and ensure the safety through intelligent control.The utility tunnel is located in the underground of the city,and the conventional monitoring system is difficult to fully meet the requirements.It is imperative to design a reliable monitoring system to ensure the safety of the utility tunnel body,the staff and the equipment in the utility tunnel.This paper studies the monitoring requirements of the utility tunnel,and the design and implementation of the hardware and software of the monitor system.The major work is listed as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the functional requirements of the environmental monitoring system of the utility tunnel,the monitoring and control objects and the overall architecture of the system are determined.According to the analysis of the equipment contained in the comprehensive pipe gallery,the monitoring objects of cable joint temperature,environmental temperature and humidity,harmful gases such as CO,H2S,CH4,oxygen content and sump water level are determined,and the control objects of water mist cooling equipment,mechanical exhaust fan and submersible sewage pump are determined.In order to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of monitoring and control,the idea of edge computing is used for reference,and zoning monitoring is adopted The overall architecture scheme of centralized supervision of data and control,integrated data and equipment status.(2)In order to ensure the environmental safety of the pipe gallery,the assessment method of controlling the environmental safety level of the pipe gallery was established by referring to the atmospheric environment assessment system and the monitoring data.There are all kinds of repair and maintenance needs in the comprehensive pipe gallery,and the environmental safety level is very important to the health of the repair and maintenance personnel.The analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are used to comprehensively evaluate the air environment of the pipe gallery.The reference value of each control quantity and the control strategy of each control object are determined,which lays a foundation for the realization of the control objective of the environmental safety level of the pipe gallery.(3)Based on the monitoring object and the overall architecture of the monitoring system,and taking the environmental safety level of the pipe gallery as the control objective,the software and hardware design and implementation of the environmental monitoring system of the pipe gallery are carried out.In terms of hardware,the field hardware part of the monitoring system uses nanopifire3 as the main controller to perform the edge computing function,adopts the distributed concept of wireless receiving monitoring measurement,GPIO output control quantity,HDMI display field quantity,and uses TCP/IP protocol interface and optical fiber connection to realize the centralized upload of comprehensive data and equipment status.In terms of software,on-site nanopifire3 is programmed and controlled with friendlycore as the operating system,the upper computer server uses My SQL database to store comprehensive data,and python language is used to design the user management program in C/S mode.The test and verification of the main functions of the monitoring system show that the functions meet the design requirements.
