In 2019,the global sales of electric vehicles exceeded 2.1 million, and the number of electric vehicles in use reached 7.2 million,of which China has the largest market share.Electric vehicles are already a key area of concern for "Made in China2025" and "2030 Carbon Peak",and an important strategic industry for achieving sustainable development of energy and environment in my country. With the increase in the number of electric vehicles, more and more related problems are gradually exposed. One of the most concerned is the discrepancy between the nominal driving range of electric vehicles and the actual driving range, which leads to problems such as mileage anxiety and frequent charging of the driver. The main reason for this problem is that a single test condition is used in the regulations to conduct energy consumption experiments on electric vehicles, and a single test condition does not represent the daily driving conditions. So the research on a more complete evaluation method of electric vehicle energy consumption has theoretical value and practical application potential.First, after fully understanding the energy consumption and recovery modes of electric vehicles that are different from traditional fuel vehicles, and the longitudinal dynamics of the vehicles,a physical model of travel-oriented electric vehicle energy consumption is constructed. The physical model contains a large number of vehicle system parameters. Therefore, the model parameters are solved by the least square method in mathematics using the sample data of driving energy consumption, and a data model that can be used to evaluate the energy consumption of electric vehicles is obtained.Secondly, using Simulink to simulate the energy consumption process and conduct standard electric vehicle energy consumption experiments to obtain energy consumption samples used to verify and analyze the energy consumption evaluation model of electric vehicles. At the same time, the application of the electric vehicle energy consumption evaluation model is studied, and two key application scenarios are proposed. One is the application of standard experiment energy consumption evaluation of electric vehicles, and the other is the application of energy consumption rate estimation for continuous driving in time and space. The performance of the evaluation model under the two types of applications is verified and analyzed by using the obtained energy consumption samples and different data solving methods. The final analysis results show that: 1.Using the standard test cycle energy consumption samples obtained by Simulink simulation, the energy consumption model solved by the least square method has an error of less than 5% for the estimation of the vehicle energy consumption level, which verifies that the electric vehicle energy consumption evaluation model is theoretically accurate.2.The proposed method for evaluating the energy consumption of electric vehicles based on standard test tests can visualize the energy consumption levels of electric vehicles of different models and provide energy consume results under different types of driving conditions without increasing the cost of standard energy consumption test experiments.3.Using Simulink simulation to obtain time-space continuous driving trip energy consumption samples with air-conditioning load, different data solution methods are used to verify the application effect of electric vehicle energy consumption evaluation model on trip energy consumption estimation rate.Among them, the average error of the estimated energy consumption rate in the parameter solution scheme using the recursive weighted least square method is less than 20%.
