Tire dynamics is the basis of vehicle dynamics analysis,among which the static,steady and transient characteristics of tires have an important influence on vehicle handling stability.With the rapid development of economy and society,the requirements for tire and vehicle matching are higher and higher.The traditional methods of sample vehicle trial production to site evaluation are gradually disintegrated.Virtual matching,virtual adjustment and virtual evaluation are becoming the main technical development routes.However,because of the complex material and mechanical properties of tires,the research on the matching between tire and vehicle is always the key and difficult point.At present,most of the performance evaluation system of tires still copy the performance evaluation conditions and methods of vehicles,and can not establish effective evaluation methods for the characteristics of tires;at the same time,the relationship between the vehicle characteristics and the key performance of tires is fuzzy,which can not provide guidance for the design and production of tires.This paper analyzes the important working conditions and key performance of tire and vehicle matching from the point of view of tire dynamics.The key performance of tire are used as the basis of evaluation,and Established Associate with the vehicle performance by linear function,and the model from tire performance to vehicle virtual evaluation is proposed and validated.The evaluation method not only indicates the development path for tire enterprises,At the same time,it can decompose the performance target of the vehicle into the key mechanical characteristics of the tire,which has an important positive impact on the development of new vehicle.According to the above problems,based on the previous research of the subjective and objective evaluation correlation of vehicles,this paper has carried out the following work.1.the proposal and analysis of key working conditions of tire performance evaluationBased on the handling method and driver’s evaluation feeling after the tire is assembled into the vehicle,and combined with the evaluation methods and evaluation contents of domestic and foreign enterprises,the working conditions and operation methods suitable for tire performance evaluation when the vehicle is running are summarized.The paper establishes an accurate vehicle model,and according to DOE design requirements,comprehensively studies the influence degree and direction of each subsystem of vehicle chassis(including suspension,steering system and tire)under the working conditions,further selects the objective working conditions studied,and explains its rationality,so as to carry out the relevant research on tire dynamics and performance evaluation in the future.2.construction of the evaluation model of the subjective and objective conformity of the whole vehicleBased on the objective evaluation conditions selected above,the performance of each objective test condition is analyzed one by one,and the vehicle motion state parameters corresponding to the subjective evaluation are obtained.According to the basic theory of vehicle dynamics and the description of driver’s subjective evaluation,the objective performance indexes under various working conditions are extracted respectively.The collected data are processed by low-pass filtering and zero drift is removed.The objective indexes are calculated by polynomial fitting and data normalization.Objective indexes are selected based on ridge regression ridge trace and correlation coefficient analysis.Then,a reliable subjective and objective correlation evaluation model for tire and vehicle matching is established by multivariate linear regression analysis.3.Building and validation of tire evaluation model based on vehicle stability performanceCombined with the basic theory of tire dynamics and the research of tire six component characteristics,PAC tire model is selected for simulation.Through the analysis of model parameters and tire performance working range under different testing conditions,Co simulation platform is built by ISIGHT,Car Sim and MATLAB software.The key mechanical properties of the tire obtained from the simulation are taken as input,and the vehicle virtual subjective score is taken as the target to train BP neural network.Through the study of the neural network model,the relationship between the tire performance index and the virtual subjective score is indirectly obtained under different virtual matching conditions of tire and vehicle handling and stability performance.At the same time,a new tire performance evaluation model based on the key characteristic parameters of the tire is built,and the model will respectively study the steady-state,transient and lateral mechanical properties of the tire matching with the whole vehicle,which are in the linear region,transition region and slip region.Through the research on the full factor simulation of the key tire performance under different working conditions,the correlation between the tire performance index and the virtual subjective evaluation is established through the linear function.The random tire model is used to test,and the results meet the use requirements(the error is far less than 3.3%).The new tire performance evaluation model can standardize the lateral dynamic characteristics of the tire.The new tire performance evaluation model can standardize the lateral dynamic characteristics of the tire,and obtain the key performance objectives of the tire through the reverse solution of the vehicle performance requirements,which is conducive to the matching development of tire and vehicle handling performance and the design and production of tire.
