With the implementation of my country’s two-child policy and parents’ attention to early childhood education,high-quality early childhood education is invaluable.At present,in addition to kindergartens,the “second front” children’s activity center of early childhood education is also favored by parents and children.However,the existing children’s activity center still retains the traditional teaching methods and spatial structure,and children are physiological users of the space.And the psychology has not been satisfied,and it is urgent to find another way to find a design that conforms to the development of the times.In recent years,Reggio’s early childhood education theory has prevailed around the world with its unique views on children and education,and has also formed a huge influence in China.Based on Reggio’s educational theory,this paper analyzes the development and evolution of early childhood education theories at home and abroad and the distinctive viewpoints of Reggio’s educational philosophy,and summarizes three perspectives that affect children’s growth: child-oriented,education-oriented,and classroom-centered..Through meticulous research on children’s physical and psychological characteristics,and trying to find out the connection between children and space,nature,and interpersonal relationship with the environment,it demonstrates the necessity and rationality of bringing Reggio education theory into the design of children’s activity center..Based on the analysis of the current situation of domestic children’s activity centers and combined with the above research,it is concluded that the creation of domestic children’s activity centers should focus on the fuzzy and transparent of the enhanced boundary,the open and diverse spatial layout,and the ingenious design of traffic routes;Children’s sensory experience,the role of light in space creation,and three innovative breakthroughs: the natural combination of architecture and bringing nature to children’s classrooms.Finally,according to the above researched strategies and methods,complete the discussion of the design of children’s activity center based on Reggio’s educational philosophy,including the analysis of the design,the performance of characteristics and effect.
