| The problems of over-commercialisation,exodus of village population and destruction of the traditional landscape that most traditional villages in China currently exhibit are in essence a contradiction formed by the decay of traditional industries,lack of cultural self-confidence and the inability of traditional village functions to meet the growing demands of villagers’ lives.Because of their unique geological and geomorphological features and rich ethnic minority culture,the traditional villages within the Sanjiang Parallel River World Natural Heritage Site have distinctive regional characteristics,and because the Sanjiang Parallel River World Natural Heritage Site is treacherous and inaccessible,it is less influenced by the outside world during the urbanisation process,and the minority cultures,traditional dwellings and folk customs within the villages are relatively well preserved and have high research It is of great research value.However,with the gradual development of tourism in the Three Rivers World Natural Heritage Site and the implementation of relevant protection regulations,the traditional villages in the Three Rivers World Natural Heritage Site are facing problems such as low output value of traditional industries,lack of funds for the development of village tourism,serious population exodus and difficulty in passing on traditional culture.In view of these problems,the paper proposes a conservation and development strategy with local characteristics,taking into account the current national strategy of rural revitalisation and the special geographical and cultural situation of the Sanjiang Parallel Current World Natural Heritage Site.The thesis analyses the results of the conservation and development of traditional villages at home and abroad.With the idea of sustainable development and holistic conservation,the thesis analyses the natural and human resources,the characteristics and development of traditional villages in the Sanjiang Parallel River World Natural Heritage Site through literature research,field studies and in-depth interviews,and determines the value of the villages.The study also empirically investigated the influence of the current conservation and development of traditional villages on villagers’ willingness to protect and develop through structural equation modeling.The study found that: the socioeconomic development of traditional villages,environmental and cultural protection and villagers’ satisfaction with the current conservation and development of traditional villages all have a positive influence on villagers’ willingness to protect and develop.Based on the above study,and in conjunction with the rural revitalisation strategy,the four requirements of ecological livability,civilised countryside,flourishing industry and effective governance are used to determine the target orientation and corresponding principles for the conservation and development of traditional villages in the Three Rivers World Natural Heritage Site,and to propose a strategy for the overall and coordinated development of the Three Rivers World Natural Heritage Site,so as to drive the development of internal traditional villages through the radiation and spillover effects In addition,through the analysis of the three levels of traditional villages: macro,medium and micro,specific development measures concerning scenic areas,villages and people are proposed.It also proposes conservation strategies for traditional villages in terms of village appearance,landscape pattern and ethnic culture,such as clarifying the power of the main conservation body,continuing the traditional appearance of villages,establishing an overall conservation framework for villages,enhancing the cultural vitality of villages and accelerating digital heritage conservation. |
