Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,China has emphasized the importance of sustainable development, and obtaining renewable green energy from traffic roads is the key to sustainable development of transportation. This paper develops several piezoelectric transducers that can be used in the traffic road environment based on traffic loads, and conducts research on road piezoelectricity through various types of experiments, which are divided into the following three main aspects.(1)Indoor traffic model tests were conducted to study the interaction between the piezoelectric transducer and the pavement structure when the piezoelectric transducer is applied to the road. The test results found that the energy harvesting efficiency of asphalt piezoelectric pavement is higher than that of concrete piezoelectric circuit.(2)A new lever-type piezoelectric transducer(LPEH)was developed for installation on a real road and a series of performance comparison tests were conducted with a common transducer(PEH)without a lever device. The results show that the lever-type piezoelectric transducer produces higher open-circuit voltage under the same loading conditions, and the output power of the lever-type piezoelectric transducer is 21.51 m W,which is three times higher than that of the common transducer(7.45 m W)under the optimal external load. And the LPEH still exhibited stable structural performance and durability during 300,000 load cycle tests.(3)The output pattern and electrical performance of the road piezoelectric transducer in curves under different vehicle models and speed conditions in the field road test were studied. The study results show that the piezoelectric transducer deployment at curves can bring higher electrical energy gain than on straight roads...
