Research On The Spatial Structure And Causes Of The Village Toponymic Landscape In Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture

Geographical name landscape is an important part of cultural landscape,which reflects people’s cultural heritage and environmental cognition of specific space and has high cultural value.Since the village has the characteristics of a historic place names landscape,heritage,stability,and at the same time,the landscape is a condensation of the village names and cultural elements of cultural and natural features of the countryside,rural culture construction,promote heritage has meaning.Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture is rich in natural environment and unique in culture.From the perspective of multicultural integration area,Dali Prefecture is a typical multi-ethnic cultural gathering place.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the geographical names landscape of villages in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture with cultural uniqueness,regional typicality and natural diversity,for the excavation of regional culture,the utilization of geographical names value,and the analysis of regional natural and cultural conditions.The specific research of this paper can be divided into the following six parts:In the first part,the background,content,purpose and significance of this research are expounded from the social,cultural and time requirements,and the related concepts and theories are defined.The development status of related art research at home and abroad is summarized with emphasis,and the main ideas and basic theoretical methods of this research are established.The second part expounds the natural base（topography,biological resources,hydrology,climate）and humanistic base（nationality,art and culture,religious belief,social history）of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.In the third part,according to dictionaries,dictionaries,local chronicles and place names of counties and districts,the landscape classification statistics of 5179 village place names are carried out.The types of geographical names landscape in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture are as follows: in the first-class classification,the natural geographical names landscape accounts for 41.32%,and the humanistic geographical names landscape accounts for 58.68%.Natural geographical names landscape can be divided into six categories: mountain topography,hydrology,plants,animals,azimuth measurement and astronomical climate.The landscape of humanistic geographical names is divided into seven categories: surnames,architectural projects,memorial wishes,economic activities,military politics,religious beliefs and minority languages.Then,according to the geographical names data points,combined with the literature and Arc GIS,the paper analyzes the structural characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics of the elements of various types of geographical names landscapes.The fourth part,based on the statistical analysis results,extracts the landscape elements reflected by the geographical names in Dali Prefecture,and makes a preliminary analysis of the natural and cultural elements related to geographical names that can be vectorized.Based on the spatial structure characteristics of various geographical names,different methods such as spatial superposition,buffer analysis,comparative analysis and literature analysis are adopted to summarize the main reasons affecting the formation of spatial structure of various geographical names,which also confirms the relationship between geographical names and natureThe fifth part summarizes the value connotation of the rural place name landscape,and puts forward three strategies of cultural construction,tourism planning and brand building from the perspective of rural revitalization.The sixth part is a summary of the conclusions of this study,and looks forward to the future research of geographical names landscape.Through studying the spatial structure and forming factors of village toponymic landscape in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture,this study mainly draws the following three conclusions: First,there are many kinds of toponymic landscape elements in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture,which reflect the mountain topography,hydrology,natural resources,clan composition,people’s will,production and trade,military politics,religious beliefs,language characteristics,etc.At the same time,various types of toponymic landscape intersect with each other.Second,there are some differences in the spatial distribution of various types of geographical names landscapes,but most of them are sparse in the northwest and dense in the southeast,which has a great relationship with the topography of Dali Prefecture.At the same time,there are some similarities among several kinds of geographical names landscapes which influence each other.Third,the geographical name landscape and the local natural humanities complement each other.The geographical name landscape has the value connotations of symbols,language,culture and spiritual space.Inheriting and utilizing the geographical name culture is an important way to protect the geographical name landscape.
