Study On The Walkability Of Qingshan Lake Greenway

As a suburban greenway,Qingshan Lake Greenway connects villages,lakes,mountains and cities,promotes the construction of ecological towns,and promotes the development of surrounding tourism,becoming a place for leisure activities for urban and rural residents.A study on the walkability of the Qingshan Lake greenway will provide a scientific reference for the construction of the suburban greenway in the future.This paper uses data analysis and humanistic psychology analysis combined with questionnaires to analyze walkers’ perception and experience of the walking environment of Qingshan Lake Greenway,build an environmental quality evaluation system,and propose specific improvement strategies based on the research results.The specific research results are as follows:(1)Under the theoretical guidance of suburban greenway,leisure behavior theory and environmental impact behavior theory,the purpose of people’s walking(recreation,fitness)and walking needs are explored,which can ultimately be attributed to five elements: bio-environmental climate elements,Physical condition elements,natural and social elements,psychological elements and physiological elements.(2)Through on-site investigations,questionnaire surveys and interviews,the current situation of the walking environment in each section of the Qingshan Lake Greenway was investigated,and corresponding research and discussion were carried out.It is found that safety issues in the greenway and landscape greening have the greatest influence on people’s willingness to walk and walk suitability.A good ecological environment and a safe walking environment are also the most critical factors in the greenway design.(3)Use SPSS software to analyze the data,and with the help of principal component analysis and cluster analysis,to summarize the internal relationship between walkability and the natural environment;and select 10 representative environmental indicators,namely: greening on both sides of the road,road surface quality,Sanitary conditions,personal safety,exhaustion,rest facilities,road paving,marking systems,sanitary facilities,landscape sketches,using gray correlation analysis method to get the correlation strength with the walking perception environment,and build a more complete greenway walking Environmental assessment system.(4)Finally,the research results put forward a path to improve the walkability of the greenway,and explained it from the aspects of pedestrian design,pedestrian space design and environmental facility design,and provided reference and assistance for the future construction of suburban lakeside greenways.
