| Along with the world’s social energy shortage and the problem of greenhouse effect is becoming increasingly prominent.Among them,photovoltaic power generation,wind power generation,tidal power generation and other new energy projects are favored by more and more investors.Along with the increasing of the first generation of new renewable energy wind power key project into the regional power grid in our country,then some of the important problem also gradually exposed,such as the average wind power output of wind power in China are volatility and randomness and non-durable is to secure and stable operation of the regional power grid poses a serious threat,Even in some areas,the wind power cannot absorb the situation.Under this background,the energy storage system emerges at the right moment.The energy storage system can store energy when the wind energy is surplus and release energy when the wind energy is scarce,which can serve as a powerful supplement to the clean energy of the regional power grid.The hybrid energy storage system based on super-capacitor and battery can not only balance and suppress the randomness and volatility of the wind energy,It can also overcome the disadvantages of weak energy storage capacity,short battery life and low charge and discharge efficiency of super-capacitors.Therefore,the hybrid energy storage system has a realistic significance for the stable output of wind power system and the safe and stable operation of wind power connected to regional power grid system.In order to understand the characteristics of the hybrid energy storage system based on batteries and super-capacitors,the experimental and simulation studies on batteries and super-capacitors were carried out firstly.The results show that the polarization effect exists in the battery but not in the super-capacitor.Then,the advantages and disadvantages of the single energy storage system of battery and super-capacitor and the hybrid energy storage system are analyzed.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that the hybrid energy storage system has obvious advantages over the single energy storage system in the power instability and investment economy of the wind power shift.Therefore,in view of the energy storage characteristics of batteries and super-capacitors,it is very necessary to establish a hybrid energy storage system for wind farms and access systems.According to the relevant statistical data of a wind farm which has been put into operation in North Henan Province,the optimal allocation method of the capacity of super-capacitor and battery is put forward,and based on this,the configuration scheme of the energy storage system of the experimental verification platform is determined.Therefore,the hybrid energy storage system is of great significance for suppressing abnormal power fluctuations of wind farms and maintaining the safe and stable operation of the grid.Based on the principle of low-pass filtering,the control strategy of battery balance to suppress wind farm output low-frequency power instability and super-capacitor balance to suppress wind farm output high-frequency power instability is proposed.Considering the polarization effect of the charged battery status and the influence of the charge and discharge characteristics,puts forward the battery charged state feedback to adjust the battery charged state and filtering time constant of the control algorithm,makes the battery according to the state of charged accordingly adjust the input power of their own,thus effectively guarantee the battery can work in the optimal state,reduce the battery charge and discharge frequency,Prolong operating life.The control system platform of small wind power generation and battery-super-capacitor hybrid energy storage is built,and the control strategy proposed in the system is verified by experiments.Experimental results show that the power output of wind farms changes,storage battery and super capacitor respectively in different control cycle to smooth wind power output,when the battery charged state would reach the limit,according to the battery charged state feedback to adjust filter time constant frequency,battery,in turn,by adjusting the mix of battery energy storage control cycle,can effectively The output of the whole battery to prevent the battery from overcharging and over-discharging;If the wind power changes rapidly,the hybrid energy storage has an obvious effect on the stability of wind power output. |
