Wind energy, as one kind of clean, renewable energy, has a promising future of being developed and used in large scale. Wind power is in line with the industry policy and industry strategic planning of our county, and is in line with our country's 21st century energy Strategic Planning. In addition, wind power can promote our country's industrial structure adjustment. As a result, wind energy is very competitive and can not be replaced by the other kinds of energy. There is broad prospect to develop wind energy.This thesis is based on Huawei wind farm in Qingdao. In this paper, the author analyzed and calculated all kinds of wind energy parameters on Huawei wind farm by using the wind data form April 1,2008 to March 31,2009.The wind energy resource in Huawei wind farm was assessed. The results proved that it is reasonable for macro sitting of Huawei wind farm in Qingdao.Analyzing, processing and amending the Huawei wind farm's running monitor data of.resent 5 years, the reasons of the difference of generated energy among the wind turbines with the same type in one wind farm was analyzed. The effect of height, the wind turbine wake and terrain topography of wind farm on generated energy was researched. The research of micro sitting methods in wind farm was carried out. The results show that:Based on the great difference of generated energy of Huawei wind farm's 12 wind turbines per month, it was concluded that there was different generated energy for 12 the same type of wind turbine caused by micro sitting. Comparing the vary different generated energy at the north orientation of number 4 and number 15 wind turbine, it was mainly caused by landform. Analyzing the compared groups number 4and 5 and number 6 and 7 with the similar external terrain and the other conditions, it was concluded that the smaller the distance between the wind turbines, the impact of wake on generated energy was greater and the higher the altitude of wind turbine, the generated energy was greater.In addition, this paper assessed the environmental benefit of Huawei wind farm in Qingdao, and got the conclusion that the environmental benefit of Huawei wind farm was 5768000 Yuan per year. Analyzing the environmental impact of Huawei wind farm, it was proposed that the negative impact on the environment should be considered when we were choosing the location of wind farm and we should considering both the economic benefits and environmental benefits of wind farm to improve the methods of wind farm sitting.
