Research And Practice Of Square Green Space Renewal Focused On City Image Building

The city square is the symbol of the city,and it is the carrier of the city image.The square green space landscape is an important part of the city image.Zhangjiajie is a mountainous international tourism city with tourism.The shaping of city image is of great significance to create local tourism business card,promote local tourism and promote regional economic development.Taking the main city area Yongding District of Zhangjiajie as an example,this paper discusses the problems,reasons and Strategies of the green space construction in the city square for the shaping of the city image.Further,the paper selects three square green spaces in the city to carry out the practice of green space landscape transformation,and gives the targeted transformation ideas and specific graphic and graphic schemes.The main contents and results of the research and practice are as follows:(1)The paper summarizes the difficulties and problems in the shaping of city image in the square green space of the city.Through literature review,on-site investigation and questionnaire survey,the paper summarizes the difficulties and problems in the shaping of urban image of the square green space in the city:①the theme of square green space is not clear,which is difficult to form a deep impression and cognition of urban image;② Although there are design themes,the theme is not expressed enough and incomplete,and the city image is not able to be shaped;③ The impact of foreign culture brings many difficulties and challenges to the image building of Zhangjiajie City with multi-ethnic culture blend,unique natural and cultural landscape.(2)The city image orientation of Zhangjiajie is sorted out and clarified.The orientation of Zhangjiajie is to explore the historical and cultural context of Zhangjiajie,according to the development and orientation of Zhangjiajie City,and combine the unique natural and cultural landscape of Zhangjiajie City,the city image of Zhangjiajie is defined as:"national characteristics,multiple integration,landscape integration and ecological harmony".(3)The design elements and symbols of Zhangjiajie city image are condensed and extracted.According to the city image orientation of Zhangjiajie,the paper makes art processing on the natural and cultural landscapes with characteristics such as batik decoration,xilankap,national totem,featured animals and plants,characteristic buildings and Zhangjiajie landform in terms of landscape,national characteristics,ecological harmony and multi integration,A series of design elements and symbols are extracted to show the city image of Zhangjiajie.(4)The design practice of green space transformation scheme of square is carried out flexibly by using design elements and symbols.The extracted design elements and symbols which show Zhangjiajie city image are flexibly applied to the sculpture,road pavement,plant configuration and garden design of the square green space in the research area;Three typical and representative urban square green space in the research area are selected to carry out specific research and practice,and corresponding transformation ideas and graphic schemes are provided respectively.
