In recent years,micro satellites have developed rapidly,not only the number of launches increases year by year,but also the payload increases,and its demand for energy is also increasing.The energy of small satellites is usually provided by solar panels,the early solar panels are generally stationary relative to the satellite body,with the development of satellite,the solar panel steering mechanism has appeared.The pointing mechanism of solar panels can make the normal line of solar panels coincide with the sunlight and improve the output power of power supply.The existing solar panel steering mechanism usually has only one degree of freedom,and the steering mechanism with two DOF is seldom detected,but,one DOF steering mechanism can not adapt to complex working mode,therefore,it is of great significance to study the directing mechanism of solar panels with two DOF.According to the principle of coupling drive,a solar panel pointing mechanism with two DOF is designed in this paper.Not only can solar panels adapt to complex working modes,but also have the characteristics of small size,light weight and high driving index.In this paper,the solar panel pointing mechanism for micro satellites is studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the technical requirements of the pointing mechanism,the overall structure design of the solar panel pointing mechanism is completed by using the coupling driving principle,it includes the structure design of differential components,transmission components,mechanical limit design,key components and so on.By comparing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of two schemes of gear drive and synchronous belt drive,the design scheme of synchronous belt drive is finally selected.The forward kinematics,inverse kinematics and dynamic modeling of the pointing mechanism are analyzed.the kinematics simulation with ADAMS is carried out to verify the feasibility of the principle.(2)Series of analyses of the pointing mechanism are carried out with AN SYS,including the static analysis of key components,the overall modal analysis of the pointing mechanism,the harmonic response analysis and the thermal structure coupling analysis,which provide the basis for the design of the pointing mechanism.(3)The directional mechanism is optimized by combining topology optimization with response surface optimization.Firstly,the shape optimization tool in the analysis system is used to optimize the topology of the pointing mechanism and optimize its shape.Then,the response surface optimization method in the design exploration module on ANSYS is used to optimize the size based on the static analysis.The combination of topology optimization and response surface optimization makes the pointing mechanism in this paper not only meet the application requirements,but also achieve the minimum quality.(4)The polygonal effect,the eccentric transmission error,the transmission error of the synchronous belt on the pointing mechanism are analyzed,and by means of orthogonal experiment,the factors affecting the pointing accuracy are analyzed,and the sensitive factors affecting the pointing accuracy are obtained,which provides a basis for improving the pointing accuracy of the pointing mechanism.(5)According to the design plan,the prototype is manufactured and the prototype is assembled,and according to the control scheme of the pointing mechanism,the pointing mechanism is debugged,and the swing and rotation functions of the sailboard pointing mechanism are realized,which verifies the rationality of the design scheme.
