The digital twin was born in simulation modeling technology,developed in sensor technology,and grew in the breakthrough and group integration of new generation of information technology,which has become a new grip for digital upgrading of production type in many countries.Tube manufacturing,an important part of shipbuilding,is a typical discrete small batch production.The information system of the production line,which is mainly manual,cannot support the needs of industrial development and realize the collaboration between systems,and some of the ship tube processing production lines in China are facing the problem of industrial upgrading and transformation.In order to study the digital construction of ship pipe processing production line,this paper combines virtual debugging and research on digital twin technology,and the research mainly includes the following parts(1)Take typical ship pipe processing production line as the research object,study the role,characteristics and equipment composition of typical work stations,and establish its virtual model.Study the characteristics processing of digital twin,separating movable parts,configuration interface and attributes for the virtual model.Study the layout of a typical pipe processing line,and build a simulation virtual production line in combination with it.(2)Establish the control system in PLC,use the production line control system to drive the virtual production line by data,and design the behavior driving process of each station.We also study the interconnection method between the control system and the virtual production line,and use ADS communication to connect the two,so that the virtual production line becomes a digital production line that accepts control system control and feeds production information.(3)We also focus on the response of the collected data,and use the data to participate in the control logic to establish a manufacturing execution system(MES).It also fuses the collected data for equipment failure warning,which has an impact on decision making.(4)Using the OPC UA protocol,the MES system is linked to the control system in the PLC,thus opening up the way for data interaction between the MES,the production line control system,and the digital production line.(5)On the basis of the digital production line,we add some physical equipment in the actual station to be controlled by the same control system to verify the consistency of the digital production line and the physical production line and achieve semi-physical simulation.At the same time,the physical equipment uses Socket communication to interact with the digital production line with real-time status information of the equipment,and the digital production line responds to the action and execution of the physical workstation in real time to realize the digital twin.Finally,the MES system issues tasks,and the control system receives the MES tasks and controls the digital production line specifically.The digital production line and the physical workstation are affected by the tasks issued,and their actions visually reflect the control of the production line by the MES.In this paper,through the study of MES system and digital twin,we open up the information flow,realize the virtual debugging and early verification,reduce the cost of upgrading the production line,improve the information level of the production line,and strengthen the control ability.
