| Since the reform and opening up,China’s cities have entered a stage of rapid development,and the city’s appearance has undergone a modern transformation.Traditional commercial blocks are facing double pressures of protection and development.However,the extensive traditional renewal model cannot alleviate the material decline of the blocks.Industrial economic regression,the loss of traditional culture,the loss of indigenous people,etc.,traditional commercial districts urgently need new and sophisticated update models.In recent years,academia and industry have conducted reflection research on urban renewal in China,and introduced the concepts of "micro-renewal" and "urban catalyst" and applied them to renewal practice.This article takes traditional commercial blocks as the research object,explores the traditional commercial block micro-renewal model based on urban catalyst theory,and then proposes a "catalytic micro-renewal" strategy.First,this article takes Suzhou Shantang Street and Nanjing East Zhonghua Gate Gutongxiang Block as case studies.Through field surveys,visual analysis of POI data,and questionnaire interviews,this article analyzes the case’s updating behavior and operation management experience at the material and non-material levels.Refined and summarized the common experience and difference characteristics with application value,and provided innovative inspiration for the renewal and protection of traditional commercial blocks.Secondly,based on theoretical research and case enlightenment,this article,with certain theoretical guidance,summarizes it into a micro-renewal model based on urban catalyst theory,puts forward the concept of "catalyst-based micro-renewal",explains its connotation and characteristics,and studies "catalyst-based micro-renewal" Applicability in traditional commercial districts,and build a "catalytic micro-renewal" framework for traditional commercial districts,clearly updating goals,basic guidelines and key content.In the end,the specific strategy of "catalytic micro-renewal" in traditional commercial districts is emphasized,the functional orientation of the districts is clearly defined,and "micro-reconstruction","micro-management",and "micro-circulation" strategies are proposed to improve the physical environment of the districts,promote the development of industrial economy,and continue local Characteristic context to ensure the sustainable development of the neighborhood. |
