Research On The Design Of Homestay Facility Reformed From Traditional Folk House In Suzhou Ancient City

With the development trend of tourism in China changing to the mode of enjoying in-depth tourism,homestay facilities,a kind of accommodation service facility,flourishes in all parts of China with its advantages of strong local experience and home-style warmth.In some areas where the resources of traditional residential buildings are gathered,the homestay facilities of traditional residential buildings emerges in large Numbers due to its unique advantages.As one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural cities in China,suzhou has abundant traditional residential resources in the ancient city,and the homestay facilities industry has been developing constantly.However,various problems such as unclear characteristics,poor utilization and poor comfort have been exposed in the transformation process of traditional residential home stay,which restrict the development of home stay in the ancient city of suzhou.In order to solve this problem,this paper investigates the characteristics of traditional folk houses in suzhou ancient city and the characteristics of home stay in the ancient city,and explores the design strategies of home stay in suzhou ancient city.Firstly,through the literature review,the research status of home stay and traditional residential renovation at home and abroad is understood to provide theoretical support for the research.In addition,the paper investigates the development status of traditional residential remoulding homestay in suzhou ancient city and compares it with the mature regions of jiangnan to analyze the problems in the development.Secondly,the typical characteristics of traditional dwellings in suzhou ancient city are studied,and the types of small,medium and large typical traditional dwellings are classified to provide a basis for the specific renovation strategies.And from the existing in the ancient city in the small,medium,and large types of typical research,comprehensive analysis results,summed up the ancient city in the home shelter ontology protection is not in place,lack of characteristics,unreasonable area ratio,unreasonable layout,poor physical environment and other problems.Finally,this paper summarizes the strategies of renovating traditional dwellings in suzhou ancient city from the aspects of the general principles of renovation,preliminary planning,space design and technical means,and makes an example of the specific design methods of typical types of traditional dwelling houses.It is expected to provide some reference for the design of the traditional residential reconstruction in suzhou ancient city in the future.
