In recent years,pavement rut has became the most serious way of endangering asphalt pavement.The groove caused by road rut has a direct impact on the comfortable ride and it causes some potentially dangerous.Moreover,the groove of rut could reduce the bearing capacity of pavement structure,reduce the useful life and maintenance cycle of pavement,increase the operating costs and maintenance costs.Therefore,this paper studies the technology of high modulus asphalt pavement materials to improve the above problems.High modulus asphalt concrete has high strength and deformation resistance,which can enhance the capability of resistance to rut and the service life of pavement.This article mainly studies the following contents.(1)Combined with the current situation of our country,systematic analyzing design concept,design method,test system and technical path of asphalt mixture modulus improvement of the Marshall design method,GTM design method,French high modulus mixture design method and Superpave design method,The material composition design of high modulus asphalt mixture was determined by GTM design method.Based on this,the design system was proposed and the suitable design method in China was obtained.(2)Combined with the GTM compaction principle,the vertical pressure and the rotational reference angle are determined.The aggregates used were sieved,the optimal asphalt dosage of the two grades was determined by the programming solution method.At the same time,the asphalt mixture was subjected by rotation test and determine the oil-stone ratio.(3)By rutting test,immersion Marshall test,the freeze-thaw test splitting,beam bending experimental high modulus road performance of the mixture is analyzed,and on the uniaxial compression tests mechanical properties of materials were systematically analyzed.On the basic experiment,the drew relevant information establish some high modulus asphalt mixture design system.And with the Jingjintang Expressway the design and construction process of high modulus asphalt pavement materials is studied.
