The train battery pack is used as a train backup power supply,and the reliability of the battery pack plays a crucial role in the safe operation of the train.Traditional battery pack monitoring systems mostly use communication technologies such as CAN and WIFI,but they do their limitation in power consumption and transmission distance.This paper introduces NBIo T technology to the train battery pack online monitoring system to solve the contradiction between system power consumption and communication distance.This paper develops and implements the train battery pack online monitoring system based on cellular Narrow Band Internet of Things(NB-IoT).First,this paper analyzes the traditional battery management system and Narrow Band Internet of Things,focusing on the key technologies of NB-IoT,and summarizes the development opportunities and challenges of NB-IoT.Then,through the analysis of the needs of the train battery pack online monitoring system function,the overall architecture of the system scheme design is proposed,which is designed from three aspects: battery pack terminal,Alibaba Cloud server and mobile phone APP,completed the hardware selection of the battery terminal and the design of the circuit schematic.Based on the completed hardware equipment,the server is built and debugged to ensure smooth communication of the NB-IoT network.Mobile APP mainly designs the user interface and data communication.It uses C and JAVA programming languages to complete the device-side data packaging and APP-side data analysis,and realizes the wireless communication between the terminal device and mobile APP through the MQTT protocol.Finally,the experimental test and analysis of the train battery pack online monitoring system were performed on the built hardware platform,and the model of battery SOC is built using Simulink to compare the prediction error between KF and EKF.The train battery pack online monitoring system based on NB-IoT designed in this thesis has passed the joint test of equipment terminal and server.The experimental results show that all parts of the system are operating normally,which can extend the service life of the battery,improve the use efficiency and maintenance efficiency,and effectively guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the battery pack.
