| With the rapid economic growth and the emphasis on environmental protection,building an environment-friendly and resource-saving society has become the basic national policy,and protecting the environment and saving resources have become important social development goals.As an environmentally friendly road construction material,the warm mix asphalt can meet the requirements of road performance,and has good social and environmental benefits.With the concept of environmental protection has gradually entered various industries,warm mix asphalt has become an important way to reduce energy consumption and emissions in transportation engineering industry.It has important significance to study warm mix asphalt to reduce pollution and improve the environment.In this study,Aspha-min was used as a warming agent to modify mix SBS modified asphalt.The properties of warm-mixed asphalt binders and mixtures were studied through laboratory tests,and the energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits of warm mix asphalt were calculated and quantified.Taking an expressway pavement structure as an example,the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions during the construction of warm-mixed asphalt pavement were compared and analyzed.The main research results are as follows:Brookfield viscometer test results showed that warming agent can significantly reduce asphalt viscosity.The dynamic shear rheological test results showed that the warming agent had a significant improvement effect on the high temperature performance of asphalt,but it had an adverse effect on low temperature performance through the bending beam rheometer test.The energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions of asphalt pavement during the construction process were calculated by life cycle assessment.The results showed that the warm mix asphalt mixture can greatly reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.Warm mix asphalt mixture has good road performance and social environmental benefits.That indicate warm mix asphalt has a great application prospect in the transportation engineering industry. |
