| The differences in economic,technical,geographic,and environmental conditions of countries around the world make the specifications of asphalt pavement design in various countries unique,and the differences in asphalt pavement structure and material design are relatively large。Due to the importance of design methods and materials in the entire asphalt pavement design process,and the increasing number of Chinese aid projects for French-speaking countries in Africa,a comparative analysis of Sino-French asphalt pavement structure and material design is necessary.Comparative analysis of asphalt pavement structure design concepts.By comparing the design concepts of pavement structure in Chinese and French codes,the division and function of Chinese-French pavement structure system and the combination and selection methods of Chinese-French pavement structure are compared。Studies have shown that the most common combination of pavement in China is semi-rigid base asphalt pavement,and the design of permanent pavement structure is not perfect,and the permanent pavement is rarely considered in the design.And France considers semi-rigid base asphalt pavement and permanent pavement in the design。Comparative analysis of design methods and indicators of asphalt pavement structure。 By comparing the pavement structure design methods and indicators in the Sino-French code,it is found that due to the differences in the pavement structures adopted by the two countries,there are also certain differences in their design indicators.The main design indexes of the French asphalt pavement are the bottom tensile strain of the asphalt layer,the bottom tensile stress of the semi-rigid layer,the compressive strain of the top surface of the soil foundation and the freeze-thaw test.The Chinese code adopts asphalt layer fatigue cracking life,semi-rigid bottom fatigue cracking life,permanent deformation of asphalt layer,vertical compressive strain on the top surface of roadbed and Jidong District: asphalt surface cracking at low temperature.Comparative analysis of asphalt mixture design methods,through the comparison of the asphalt mixture design methods and indicators in the Chinese-French code,it is also found that due to the differences in asphalt mixtures used in the two countries,there are certain differences in their design indicators.China’s main design indicators are water stability,high stability,and low temperature performance.The main design indicators of France are fatigue resistance,modulus characteristics and high stability.Using the design methods of the two countries for pavement design,and using BISAR 3.0 and ALIZE software of the French LCPC company to perform mechanical analysis on the Chinese and French pavement design results,calculate the compressive strain,tensile stress and tensile strain of the top surface of the pavement structure.Applicability analysis of China and France in Congo(Brazzaville)。 Research shows that in terms of rationality and economy,China’s asphalt pavement structure is more suitable for Congo(Brazzaville). |
