| Electronic stability control system is one of the important chassis electronic control systems of the vehicle.It can effectively reduce the accident rate of vehicles under complex and extreme driving conditions by improving the operation stability of the vehicle.With the maturity of ESC technology and cost reduction,electronic stability control products have gradually become the standard configuration of new cars.The mechanical properties of the tire will have a greater impact on the performance of the ESC.Therefore,for the determined ESC products,determining the qualified interval of the required tire characteristic parameters in advance can reduce the time and cost spent by the OEM on the tire calibration.In addition,it is dangerous to use real vehicles for ESC test.Therefore,this paper proposes a method for matching tires with ESC based on HIL(Hard In Loop)bench test.First,the construction of the complete vehicle model is completed.The vehicle body,aerodynamics,steering system,transmission system,front and rear suspension models were built based on the test data of the vehicle’s center of mass height and rotational inertia test,spring and shock absorber test and suspension K&C characteristic test.Through the test data of the anti-skid trailer tire mechanical test,the parameters of the Pac2002 tire model were identified,all the parameters in the tire model were obtained,and the S-function was written to connect the identified Pac2002 tire model to Car Sim.Secondly,under the national standard automobile operation stability test conditions,the responsiveness of the tire scaling coefficients to the condition evaluation index was studied.First set the scene of the required test conditions in Car Sim,and write the calculation program of the condition evaluation index in Matlab;then set up the interface of the three softwares’ co-simulation of Car Sim / Matlab / Isight,by changing the tire in Isight the value of the tire scaling coefficients and selects them which responds more to different operating conditions evaluation indicators.Once again,the hardware construction and software programming of the HIL test bench were completed.According to the overall design scheme of the hardware-in-the-loop test bench,the connection and loading between the host computer,the industrial control computer,and the NI board,as well as the hardware of the ESC,brake wheel cylinder pressure sensor,three-dimensional rotating table,wheel speed simulation mechanism,etc.are completed.In the Lab VIEW(Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench,laboratory virtual instrument working platform)software,programs such as bench sensor data acquisition,three-dimensional rotating platform control,CAN signal reception and transmission,wheel speed signal acquisition and other programs were written,the co-simulation of Car Sim and Lab VIEW are realized.Finally,the hardware-in-the-loop test bench is used in determining the value range of the tire characteristic function under the specific ESC product conditions.Based on the sensitivity analysis of the tire scaling coefficients,the cornering stiffness is used as the research object of the tire and ESC matching,and the influence of the Pac2002 tire model parameters PKY1 and PKY2 on the relationship between the cornering stiffness and the vertical load is analyzed.After that,Pac2002 tire model was built in Car Sim and tire characteristics of Pac2002 tire model were changes by adjusting target parameters.According to the qualified range of the ESC evaluation condition evaluation index,the value range of the tire parameters and the qualified range of the cornering stiffness characteristics are determined,thereby determining the value range of the tire characteristics F,G,and H functions,so it can provide a reference for tire performance development. |
