In order to reduce the harmonic pollution of power electronic devices to the power grid,the power factor correction(PFC)technique has been widely applied in AC-DC converters.Single-stage PFC converter is very popular in low-power applications,since it features simple topology and control circuit.Single-stage PFC converter with sharing switches can reduce the number of components and circuit cost,while it brings higher voltage stress;the series and parallel compensated single-stage PFC converter can eliminate double-line-frequency ripple,and achieve high efficiency,but the main ciruit,as well as the control circuit are complex.Compared with the two single-stage PFC converters,the current source-charge pump(CS-CP)resonant single-stage PFC converters have the advantages of low cost,simple control,high efficiency,and can achieve high PF and low double-line-frequency ripple in output voltage or current.However,the CS-CP resonant single-stage PFC converters have a variety of working states and modes,which are difficult for the designing of the resonant parameters.In this dissertation,the operation modes of CS-CP resonant single-stage PFC converter is classified into three typical working modes according to the charging and discharging state of the pump capacitor Cboost.Based on the time domain modeling of CS-CP resonant single-stage PFC converter,the switching frequency,as well as the work condition for achieving high PF are well analyzed,besides,the parameter design is also given.The experimental results show that the CS-CP series resonant PFC converter has the characteristics of high PF,high efficiency and low double-line-frequency ripple.Since CS-CP series resonant PFC converter is not suitable for constant voltage mode,the CS-CP LCC resonant single-stage PFC converter is well analyzed in this dissertation,and the parameter design process of the converter under constant voltage condition is presented.The simulation results shows CS-CP LCC resonant single-stage PFC converter has a wider working range compared with CS-CP series resonant single-stage PFC converter,.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of CS-CP series resonant PFC converter and CS-CP LCC resonant single-stage PFC converter are summarized and compared.The prospect of CS-CP resonant PFC converter is also presented.
