Abstract/Summary:
In many big cities,the traditional super-block planning model,which is dominated by motor vehicles,is bringing about a series of problems: traffic congestion,environmental pollution,increasing attendance distance,etc.;Therefore,it has become a consensus to advocate the development of a mode of travel dominated by public transportation.In this context,many cities have developed subways to alleviate the above problems.However,with the continuous construction and use of the subway,many new or remaining urban problems are also exposed.Take the open space in the influence area of the old city station that the author focuses on as an example: the subway station has low correlation with the surrounding block;The quality of pedestrian space in the site influence area is poor and the pedestrian path is discontinuous.Motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle parking constantly erode the pedestrian space;The lack of street vitality and the difficulty of producing high-quality stay activities.There are many reasons for these phenomena,from a theoretical perspective,including:——The early subway construction lacked the guidance of system theory.Although the TOD theory had been introduced into China at that time,due to different national conditions,the theory still needed to adapt to local conditions.—— The research on subway construction in the old city is insufficient.Most domestic researches on TOD theory are focused on the construction of new cities,while the dual proposition of protection and renewal needs to be coordinated in the old urban areas,so there are more problems and few related researches.In this context,the author makes an in-depth study on the influence of metro stations in the old city,especially the typical central stations,on urban open space in the area.This paper consists of four parts:First of all,it is to carry on the example investigation to the nanjing old city center site influence area,and then summarizes the existing problems.In the aspect of case study,the first step is to interpret the protection and renewal plan of the old city of nanjing as the background of site investigation.The second step is to select the research samples and select the appropriate research objects.That is,choose the Confucius temple station of daxinggong station of zhujiang road station as the research object,and then conduct a comprehensive survey of the three stations.The third step is to find out all kinds of problems existing in the open space of the site through field research.In the fourth step,these problems are summarized,and the conclusion is drawn that the site impact area has efficiency and quality problems under the six systems of road network organization pedestrian system parking supply land use visual landscape and environmental facilities.Then,six systems involved in the open space of the old city center site are analyzed one by one.First do the theoretical analysis,and then do the feasibility study on the application of relevant theories.In terms of theoretical analysis,the efficiency problem corresponds to the TOD theory,and the quality problem corresponds to the outdoor activity theory.This paper is mainly based on these two theories,supplemented by other relevant theories.As for the feasibility study of theory application,this paper mainly discusses the optimization Suggestions of relevant theories in the research cases to demonstrate the feasibility.Finally,it is concluded that the related results are feasible in theory.Then,the strategy of optimizing the open space of the old city center site is discussed.In this chapter,the relevant strategies are sorted out,and then a set of system strategies for site open space optimization is generated,which can be promoted and applied to other sites.Specifically :(1)Network organization——Implementation of small block dense road network planning method;Reconstruction of pedestrian-dominated road section.(2)Pedestrian system——Optimize the pedestrian system of the core influence area;Optimize the transfer system in the portal area of the site;And optimize the important nodes.(3)Parking supply——Restrict the use of motor vehicles and the construction of parking Spaces,and encourage the use and construction of non-motor vehicles.(4)Land utilization——Encourage horizontal functional mixing and vertical functional mixing.(5)Visual landscape——The spatial atmosphere scale interface is optimized.(6)Environmental facilities——To encourage the improvement of functional configuration,additional seats;Improve walking comfort,consider sunshine,etc.;Consider night safety,perfect lighting facilities,etc.Finally,the application of practical projects,based on the optimization strategy results obtained above,this paper takes the urban design projects in Dong shan fu qian and surrounding areas of jiangning district,nanjing city as an example to discuss the specific application of relevant strategies in practical projects,so as to demonstrate the feasibility of strategies.There are about 81500 characters with 230 illustrations and 13 tables in this thesis.
