Studies On Underground Public Space Design For Urban Subway Stations

With the development of subway of the transportation gradually affecting the way people travel and lifestyle, it obviously plays an important role on promoting the city renewal and development. In order to give full play to MTR station public transport function, not only to coordination with other traffic systems, but also between the use of urban design method to deal with traffic and urban space of metro, let the subway traffic becomes the various urban function space conversion place, mutual drive the various functions of the excitation, the optimization of urban structure.This paper first summarizes the domestic and overseas research situation of subway station underground space utilization, and points out that the research in this aspect in our country is still need further. On this basis, according to the related theory, analyzing the interaction between the subway station underground building space model and with the city, put forward the subway station into the urban space, use the method of urban design, architectural space design of the underground subway station to guide, and then summarize the relevant design principles. The space relation, from the functional form, traffic organization mode and underground space, with a view to real now Metro Station underground building space three-dimensional integration of all function, and the continuity and coordination of urban spatial morphology, and improve the internal space environment. Finally, taking Shenyang city square station and cloves Park Station as an example, to investigate the application of theory and method proposed in this paper in practical engineering.
