Abstract/Summary:
Weaving area is an important part of road traffic,especially urban expressway,which has been paid great attention by traffic managers and many scholars for a long time.Driven by the frequent lane change demand,the vehicles in the weaving area make the traffic flow extremely chaotic,which is very easy to cause traffic congestion.Therefore,the traffic organization of the weaving area becomes the key to alleviate the traffic congestion,especially the multiple adjacent weaving areas become the bottleneck of the urban traffic congestion.The multiple adjacent weaving areas with mutual influence are called the neighbor weaving sections.Therefore,to optimize the traffic organization in the neighbor weaving sections can improve vehicle traffic efficiency and improve the capacity of the whole road network.At present,the optimization of weaving segment is mainly based on a single weaving segment,and the control strategy is basically adopted,but the inherent self-organization characteristics and internal laws of weaving segment are ignored.Therefore,aiming at the problem of urban road traffic congestion,the self-organization theory is applied to the optimization of neighbor weaving sections,and the optimization method of neighbor weaving sections based on self-organization criticality is proposed.The simulation platform is built by VISSIM software,and the self-organization optimization method is verified by simulation.It is of great significance to apply the self-organization theory to the organization of neighbor weaving sections.This method can not only solve the problem of traffic congestion in adjacent weaving areas,but also provide a new idea for urban road traffic organization.First of all,referring to the domestic and foreign literature on self-organization theory,optimal organization control and self-organization criticality,the main idea of this paper is to start from the traffic operation characteristics of the neighbor weaving sections,find the combination point with the self-organization theory according to the traffic operation characteristics of the neighbor weaving sections,such as the turn,traffic composition,lane change behavior,lane change times,etc.,and analyze the combination point of the self-organization theory Operation state evolution process.Secondly,based on the theory of self-organization,the existence of traffic flow self-organization is analyzed,and the characteristics of self-organization are analyzed.On this basis,the evolution law of self-organization critical system is summarized,and the critical state judgment model is established.By analyzing the influencing factors of self-organized criticality,a disturbance optimization method of self-organized criticality in the neighbor weaving sections is proposed.Before the traffic in the neighbor weaving sections reach the self-organized criticality,the vehicle lane change guidance distance in the weaving area is adjusted to break the criticality and make the vehicle re balanced distribution to ensure the smooth traffic.This method selects the average traffic delay in the neighbor weaving sections as the evaluation index,and establishes The Nash equilibrium optimization model of average traffic delay is established,and the disturbance intensity is studied by analyzing the influencing factors of induced compliance.Finally,VISSIM software is used to simulate and verify the actual neighbor weaving sections.In the simulation comparison,each information input is kept the same and only changes in the induced distance.The simulation results show that the average traffic delay is taken as the evaluation index,and the Nash equilibrium optimization scheme based on the average traffic delay is designed.The average traffic delay can be reduced by up to 55 s and 84% in the whole day when the length of neighbor weaving sections is 60% in advance.The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by synthesizing other output document evaluation indexes,which can be used for reference in the future research on the self-organized criticality optimization method based on the neighbor weaving sections.
