| This paper summarizes the research status and application progress of corrugated steel tube in vibration isolation,energy absorption and energy dissipation.A new type of combined metal damper with superior performance,named lead-filled corrugated steel tube damper(LFCSTD),is proposed.Its structure,principles and characteristics were introduced.In addition,the properties and application of LFCSTD were studied by using the methods of conceptual design and finite element analysis.Major study contents included hysteretic performance,structural form,energy dissipation mechanism,design parameters and complex force of LFCSTD.Specific work contents and conclusions are as follows:1)The ABAQUS software was used to analyze the three kinds of dampers,namely,the hollow steel tube damper(HSTD),the corrugated steel tube damper(CSTD)and the lead-filled corrugated steel tube damper(LFCSTD),Which order to study the working mechanism,energy dissipation mechanism and hysteresis performance of the LFCSTD,and to verify the reliability of the finite element analysis model.The results show that the lead-filled corrugated steel tube damper has the advantages of clear energy dissipation mechanism,stable working performance and energy dissipation performance,strong energy dissipation capacity,great ultimate deformation and so on.2)The ABAQUS software was used to study the influence of different structural forms on the working mechanism and mechanical properties of the lead-filled corrugated steel tube dampers,and the more reasonable and reliable structural forms of the damper were selected.The results show that the corrugated steel tube end of the LFCSTD adopts the crest connection structure,which can increase the bearing capacity and stiffness of the end connection section and the plastic distribution of the damper is effectively controlled,so that the deformation and energy dissipation of the damper are concentrated in the middle section and the working performance of the corrugated steel tube is given full play.3)The ABAQUS software was used to established the 46 set of different design parameters of the lead-filled corrugated steel tube damper,and study the different radio of thickness and diameter,different design parameters of corrugated steel pipe diameter,different ratio of height and diameter,different ratio of wave and thickness,different wave height ratio,different peak diameters,different end connection length,different end plate embedding depth and other parameters on the mechanical properties of the LFCSTD.The influence law of key design parameters on mechanical properties of LFCSTD was revealed.The reasonable ratio range of different design parameters is obtained,which provides reference for the application of LFCSTD.4)The ABAQUS software was used to study the influence of 27 complex stress conditions on the mechanical properties of lead-filled corrugated steel tube damper.The results show that regardless of the outside surface effect,the LFCSTD under axial compression,shaft and at the same time,the in-plane bending,the surface outside the axial compression,axial tension,in-plane bending,out of plane bending,torsion and their combination,the hysteretic curves and skeleton curves basically coincide,and the LFCSTD basically keeps stable performance. |
