| The development of the transportation complex has gradually come into the spotlight.The transportation complex brings together various traffic modes,making traveling increasingly convenient for the public.However,it also creates some problems such as complicated and changeable transportation lines and disorganized signage information.At present,it is the airport that has become the convergence point of the domestic transportation complex,and it keeps developing steadily.Such being the case,an excellent wayfinding and signage system is a crucial part of the construction of the transportation complex.Firstly,the research is a study of the wayfinding and signage system of airport transportation complex with pattern recognition in cognitive psychology as the theoretical support for the study.Based on the main process of pattern recognition of passengers in multiple transportation modes,the application of pattern recognition in the wayfinding and signage system is explored in the research.Secondly,Design ideas and solutions are proposed on the basis of field surveys and research in the transportation complex of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and user demand investigation through observation and interview.The research findings of pattern recognition are applied according to the characteristics of the transportation complex of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport,including the application of pattern recognition in the visualization of three-dimensional moving line,continuity of signage distribution points,and visualization of signage information.Finally,the design,manufacture,and installation of the wayfinding and signage system of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport transportation complex are completed,meanwhile,on account of the unified and systematical signage information processing,the target of efficient transfer and accurate positioning for passengers can be achieved.The innovative points of the research are as follows:(1)With the pattern recognition in cognitive psychology as the entry point,the psychology of passengers as the object of investigation,mental modes of pattern recognition are established,and then the research and application of pattern recognition in wayfinding and signage system are conducted.(2)Through methods such as traffic flow modeling and visualization,the new expression of wayfinding and signage visualization is researched and successfully applied to the design of wayfinding and signage system of the transportation complex of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.(3)A wayfinding and signage system in line with the transportation complex of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is planned and designed,so as to meet diverse passenger demands and solve various wayfinding obstacles,and eventually improve the efficiency when passengers are finding their ways. |
