In recent years,the depression of shipping industry has led to the increase of idle ships.In order to reduce the operating cost,many shipping companies urgently need to improve the quality and efficiency of ship maintenance.Ship spare parts is the core resource of ship maintenance resources,the scientific and reasonable allocation of its can meet the needs of ship supply spare parts during the maintenance period,optimize the inventory level and reduce the company’s inventory management cost.Therefore,the research on the inventory classification,demand prediction and inventory allocation of ship spare parts is crucial to reduce the cost and time of ship maintenance,and improve the operating efficiency of shipping companies.Firstly,aiming at the shortage of classifying ship spare parts only with the amount of investment and reserve,a new classification method of ship spare parts is proposed,which takes both liquidity and importance into account.Based on the days of spare parts inventory turnover,spare parts are divided into two types:fast moving spare parts(F)and slow moving spare parts(S).On the basis of F and S,considering the importance of spare parts,an improved AHP and SE-DEA are used to quantify the weight of the importance evaluation index,and combining the grey relation analysis method to improved the traditional ABC inventory classification,and finally ship spare parts are divided into six types:FA,FB,FC,SA,SB and SC.Secondly,the factors that affect the demand of ship spare parts is analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of the demand prediction method is compared and analyzed.Combined with the operation data of ship related equipment,based on the operation data,a Bayesian statistical demand prediction model is established for the S-class ship spare parts,which are difficult to predict in the spare parts classification results.Then,according to the classification results of spare parts and the characteristics of all kinds of spare parts,the inventory control model under the strategy of(s,Q)is established.The inventory control model under the strategy of(t,S)for the spare parts of class FB and FC is established.With the specified availability as the constraint condition,the lowest total inventory cost in unit time as the objective function for the spare parts of class S,the ordering model is established.The Calculation process of corresponding inventory parameters are given.Finally,taking a shipping company as the background and the ship spare parts of the company as the research object,with the help of SPSSTMand MATLABTMsoftware as the calculation and analysis tool,the classification,demand forecast and inventory allocation of spare parts are analyzed.The feasibility of the inventory management strategy of ship spare parts is verified.
