Poetry Garden

Artistic conception is the essence of Chinese classical gardens and the inner difference between them and other traditional gardens.Also is the Chinese nation long-term consensus garden spirit connotation.For a long time,people have made some achievements in the study of artistic conception,but from the aspect of poetry that affects the construction of classical gardens,the systematic analysis of poetry,especially landscape pastoral poetry,is still lacking in its influence on the construction of artistic conception of gardens.This paper will proceed from this approach and expand the corresponding content.Through consulting historical literature and other scholars ’research materials and field investigation,on the basis of sorting out the existing research results on the creation of poetic and landscape artistic conception,this paper takes the development and common points of landscape and pastoral poetry and Jiang nan Gardens as the breakthrough point,four famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River: Zhuo zheng Garden,Liu Garden,Ji chang Garden,and Zhan Garden,on the basis of integrating the history of the four famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River,the owner,the site selection and the theme of the gardens,this paper studies the artistic conception of the four famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.Through the case study of the four famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River,the following four points are made: 1.The poet’s thoughts in landscape and pastoral poetry can provide a certain theme direction for Modern Garden Design and artistic conception creation,and enrich the theme of Modern Garden;2 in the modern landscape architecture,we can make use of the scenery in the landscape and pastoral poetry to reproduce the beauty depicted in the poem,add the Poetic Flavor of the modern garden,sublimate the beauty of the artistic conception of the modern garden;3 using the beautiful lines in the landscape and pastoral poems to inscribe,board and couplet on the scenic spots of the modern gardens,to arouse the poetic imagination of the visitors and enrich the artistic connotation of the gardens;4 using the artistic expression techniques of landscape and pastoral poetry to make a more poetic and picturesque planning of the overall spatial layout and landscaping techniques of modern gardens,combing and summing up the theory of poetry gardening,it provides the beneficial reference and the model for the future landscape design.
