Since the 19 th CPC National Congress,China has issued a series of policy documents,calling for the establishment of a national land development and protection system based on spatial planning by means of usage regulation,so as to limit land development,improve land use efficiency,strengthening protection of ecological environment and achieve sustainable social and economic development.In this context,it is of great significance to study the suitability of land use and optimize the configuration of land use in Qianfeng District.In this study,Qianfeng District was selected as the study area.From the perspective of spatial planning,Qianfeng District was analyzed in terms of the quantity,composition and landscape shape index of land use in the 2010-2018 period to identify the problems in current land use.Then,an index system for evaluating the suitability of land use was developed,the spatial distribution results were obtained from the suitability evaluation of land use using a multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method,and the suitable areas of land use were demarcated by a three-dimensional cube method.Finally,on the basis of land use suitability evaluation,the land use pattern in Qianfeng District for 2022 was simulated and optimized by ant colony algorithm on Geo SOS platform.Major findings from the study are as follows:(1)Analysis of the spatial and temporal evolution of land use in Qianfeng District from2010 to 2018 indicates: wide and scattered distribution of rural residential land and cultivated land,yearly increase in the comprehensive index of land use level and more intensive use of land in the agricultural production space of Qianfeng District;increased land for urban development in the urban development space;and relatively balanced and minor changes in the ecological conservation space in the past ten years.Judging from the land use pattern index,the rural residential land and urban development land is highly fragmented,with rising cultivated land shape index,higher levels of disturbance,and decreased stability.(2)Constructing a Land-space Suitability Evaluation System and Using 3D Rubik’s Cube to Delineate Land-Space Suitability Areas.Research indicates: The suitability index of agricultural production in Qianfeng District is between 0.135-0.893,urban construction is between 0.05-0.79,and ecological protection is between 0.18-0.77.The method was used to delineate 7,732.32 hectares of agricultural production,424.95 hectares of urban construction,and 18182.30 hectares of ecological protection.The results can provide a basis for the simulation and optimization of land use spatial pattern in Qianfeng District.(3)Based on the Geo SOS platform and relevant policy documents from Qianfeng District,simulation parameters and constraints were established for simulation and optimization of the spatial pattern of land use in Qianfeng District in 2022.The results of simulation and optimization were analyzed for suitability and landscape pattern index.The analysis results show that the simulation and optimization study based on land use suitability evaluation provided better spatial suitability of land use,more compact land use layout,reduced degree of land fragmentation,optimized land use landscape pattern,and more efficient land use.(4)According to land space suitability evaluation and simulation optimization results,link related plans,The towns of Qianfeng District,Daishi Town and Guantang Town are designated as important functional areas for food production and agricultural development;urban development and construction should be carried out under planning control indicators to strictly control the disorderly expansion of urban construction land;And establish and improve the ecological protection network monitoring management system.
