Research On The Second Development And Application Of BIM Technology For Complex And Irregular Buildings

BIM technology is an engineering data model that integrates various relevant information of building engineering projects.It runs through the whole life cycle of the building,and is a product of the architecture industry in the information age.Design efficiency and quality of construction drawings are closely related to rework and waste caused by design change,and BIM can solve just right the problems of low efficiency of traditional design,isolation of professional information,and frequent change of drawings.As the most widely used software in BIM platform,Revit drives the rapid development of the BIM industry,yet it is followed by a series of obstacles in the application and promotion of the software,especially the contradiction in the application of Revit in the field of structure.Therefore,in order to expand the application of Revit,taking an art expo in Sichuan province as an example,a combination of theory and practice was adopted to study the secondary development and application of BIM technology for complex buildings with special shapes.The main research contents are summarized as the following three aspects:(1)On the basis of in-depth understanding of BIM related theories,Revit software based on the BIM platform was used to establish the building information model in the designing stage.The advantages of BIM designing over traditional designing were compared and explained,and the shortcomings of the current Revit application were analyzed and pointed out.(2)On the basis of pointing out the shortcomings of Revit in the field of structure,Revit API was used to develop beam and column overmolding plug-ins,and the PKPM model was converted into a Revit model through DWG format drawings to avoid increasing workload of repeated modeling.(3)After the beam and column overmolding is completed,Revit API was used to create the beam and column reinforcement plug-in,to increase the speed of the reinforcement using Revit software,and to realize the visualization of the reinforcement project.The above research provides some reference solutions for expanding the application of BIM technology in the field of architecture engineering structure,which can improve the efficiency and reduce the workload of the design stage.
