This paper proposes a digital design method of gear transmission scheme based on knowledge unit,establishes the knowledge unit of gear transmission scheme,and realizes the series-parallel and mixed-connection solution of knowledge unit;Establish a neural network model for the evaluation of gear transmission schemes and use existing reducer product samples for training,and use the trained neural network model to sort and optimize different transmission schemes;Developed the digital design software of gear transmission scheme and realized the visualization of the scheme by using Solidworks secondary development technology;The problem of transmission scheme design in the forward design of the reducer is solved.This paper establishes the knowledge unit of the digital design of the gear transmission scheme.A pair of gears is used as a physical mechanism,and the corresponding motion,power and structural attributes are assigned to form a knowledge unit.The motion attributes include related attributes of the motion characteristics of the input and output shafts,etc.The corresponding motion characteristic state equations are established according to the motion direction of the input and output shafts,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent mathematical solution of the motion scheme.The dynamic attributes include the torque and power transmitted by the knowledge unit,the solution of the motion scheme and the calculation of the dynamic characteristics,which provide data for detailed design and mechanical analysis.The structural attributes include the position of the center point of each gear and the corresponding structural angle of each knowledge unit.The spatial position of each component in the plan is obtained after the transmission ratio distribution and gear parameter calculation,which provides data for the structural layout and the parametric design of the three-dimensional model.This article has conducted an in-depth study on the form of component connection and combination of knowledge units.Study the connection constraints of the different components of the knowledge unit and establish the connection constraint equations of the knowledge unit to provide completeness for the solution of the transmission scheme from the mathematical calculation.Research on the serial and parallel solving algorithms of knowledge units to solve simple combined transmission schemes,and research on the hybrid and parallel solving algorithms to solve complex transmission schemes,especially planetary transmissions.The knowledge unit of the gear transmission scheme and its corresponding series-parallel and parallel-parallel solving algorithms provide a systematic design theory for the scheme design process of the reducer design.This paper proposes an evaluation method of gear transmission schemes based on neural network model,and achieves the priority of the transmission schemes by sorting and optimizing the transmission schemes based on the scheme conformity index.The evaluation index of the gear transmission scheme is extracted through the analysis of the design requirements of the reducer,which is used as the input of the neural network,the conformity of the scheme is used as the output of the network,the relevant data of the actual product is used as the training sample,and the neural network model is realized by the toolbox of Matlab training.By inputting the design requirements into the trained neural network model,comparing the corresponding schemes of different transmission schemes,and then sorting and optimizing the transmission schemes,the problem of determining the configuration based on design experience in the scheme design process is solved.Finally,a digital design software module for the gear transmission scheme is developed.It mainly includes a solution module,a program sorting and optimization module,a transmission ratio distribution module,a gear design calculation module,and a program visualization module.The development mode of this design software adopts the Win Form application software developed by C#,and finally realizes the display of the three-dimensional model from the user’s design requirements to the transmission scheme through the data transfer between the various modules.Finally,a design example is used to verify the feasibility of the gear transmission scheme design software.
