Research On The Application Of Augmented Reality In The Chinese Architectural Heritage Exhibition

AR(Augmented Reality)is a kind of digital technology based on real environment to realize virtual information superposition.With the advent of the new media and the digital age,Augmented Reality has gained many exploration and application in the field of architectural heritage exhibition through the advantages of virtual-reality integration and real-time interaction.It is also necessary for us to learn these practical experiences on the basis of systematic study and analysis,exploring the way that Augmented Reality can bring for Chinese architectural heritage exhibition.This paper is an attempt of design and practice from the perspective of new thinking and digital technology.Firstly,based on the literature,this paper systematically studied the related theory of Augmented Reality,which provided the theoretical basis for the development of AR application of East Warmth Chamber.Secondly,the demand for Augmented Reality exhibition of architectural heritage was analyzed.And from the perspective of AR rather than the value of traditional heritage,this paper made innovative classification on the content aiming at the case of East Warmth Chamber.The information got updated and suppled under the traditional means.Thirdly,based on the information of Augmented Reality exhibition,further organizing the feature points of information from the perspective of exhibition,completing the preliminary theme scenario building,scenario script design and interactive design.And realizing the design and innovation of AR exhibition form.Finally,aiming at the design of exhibition scheme,the development practice of AR application was carried out on Holo Lens.The main research achievement of this paper was completing the design and development of an Augmented Reality exbihition application about East Warmth Chamber.It proved that Augmented Reality could display the multiple values of heritage and realize the new interactive presentation of information in the exhibition of Chinese architectural heritage,such as the East warmth Chamber,thus promoted the application and exploration process of Augmented Reality in Chinese architectural heritage exhibition area.
