| In the face of contemporary complex and diverse architectural design requirements,we often see architects choose to respond to these needs by applying “addition and subtraction” to achieve spatial complexity.Why do architects choose "addition and subtraction" ? How to realize the complexity of space and the inherent rules and advantages of this method is the main research content of this paper.In this paper,how to realize the complexity of space as the starting point,through the graphical analysis of a large number of typical cases,the variables that need to be controlled during the specific operation process of the addition and subtraction method are extracted,and the specific operation of spatial complexity is realized through the design variable control.method.There are six chapters in the paper.In the first chapter,the introduction briefly introduces the origin,purpose and object of the research,and summarizes the main research methods and framework of the paper.The second chapter starts from the basic problems in the process of applying addition and subtraction,from the establishment of the concept of "addition and subtraction" in the initial stage of design,to the specific problems that need to be solved in the mid-term design,until the realization of the space specificization in the later stage of design.Discussion.Firstly,the way of realizing the complexity of space by addition and subtraction is determined from three aspects:spatial form,spatial interface and spatial organization mode.Secondly,the specific operation mode of “addition and subtraction method” is clearly applied through the architectural space demand to be solved.Finally,the design variables of the specific operation mode are extracted,and the space specificity is realized by controlling the variables.The third chapter to the fifth chapter divide the typical cases of the "addition and subtraction method" from the three directions of addition,subtraction,addition and subtraction,respectively,from the different operation modes,and the operation mode of each type.The variables that need to be controlled are sorted.Establish a case analysis model of “Operational Variable Extraction – Design Process Variable Control– Specific Requirements Addressed in Design”.The typical cases using this type of technique are analyzed and compared one by one.This thesis uses the graphical analysis method and the design process analysis method to deeply interpret a large number of contemporary architectural examples,and obtains the form generation method of space complexity through the addition and subtraction method,in order to provide reference for architectural design practice. |
