Styling,Color and Material are the main factors that affect people’s visual perception of the exterior of buildings.At present,in the part of architectural design," styling " often becomes the most concerned factor for designers and many architectural design staff due to the law of color matching and the lack of grasp of materials lead to the creation of works is not perfect.In order to solve this problem,the article aims to establish architectural color matching software based on different materials for the fundamental purpose,aiming to provide architectural design staff with reference for architectural color matching and materials in the design process.The main functions of the software are summarized as follows: the color of the building facade is divided into three parts: the main color,the auxiliary color,and the embellishment color according to the relevant literature.The software provides the user with the main color and material properties according to the user’s primary color selection,and according to the main color information selected by the user,the auxiliary color and the embellishment color are matched again,and finally the user is provided with the relevant information such as the main body color,the auxiliary color and the embellishment color,material properties,and application for users to choose.This article sorts out related research results at home and abroad on color matching methods at the city level,color matching methods for different types of buildings,color matching methods for individual building facades,and the relationship between building colors and materials.The advantages and disadvantages provide a reliable theoretical basis for building color matching software based on different materials.The core content of building building color matching software based on different materials includes three aspects: building color matching rules,building material attribute matching rules,and building building color database.Therefore,through three chapters,this paper explains the contents of these three aspects.In order to create building color matching rules,the article first briefly introduces the color representation system and color selection mode on the electronic platform related to writing this software,then details the basic principles of building color matching,creates color matching rules based on the principles,and translates the rules into mathematical calculation formula.In order to establish the matching rules of material properties,the article sorts and summarizes the building materials,summarizes the color properties of each building material,and introduces its specific application through actual cases.Finally,the material properties that will affect the visual perception of the building facade It is summarized into five attributes such as transparency,gloss,roughness,noise coverage,perforation rate and perforation type.The value range of these five attributes is limited,and then the material attribute matching rule is established,and the rule is converted into a mathematical calculation formula.The material color database is the basis of the software for matching.The creation of the database includes the investigation and sampling of material samples and the classification of the data.Then,according to the mathematical calculation formula of the building color matching rule,the mathematical calculation formula of the building material attribute matching rule,and the building material color database,the building color matching software based on different materials was written based on the Python software development platform.The subjective evaluation and objective case verification of the software are shown.The subjective and objective verification shows that the building color matching software based on different materials is feasible,and it has certain guiding significance for the architectural designer in the color matching and material selection of the building facade.
