As an important part of urban renewal,the transformation of buildings requires not only the need for space and function,but also the comprehensive consideration of the building image.The color matching of buildings plays a decisive role.With the development of science and technology,new materials and new technologies are continuously applied in the reconstruction of buildings,designers have more choice of color matching,but also make the problem of architectural color matching even more complex.Due to the inability to quantitatively analyze the color perception of buildings in the process of retrofitting buildings,some of the remodeling environments cannot meet the public's psychological perception.One reason is that designers did not find a simple science on the complex issues of architectural color perception.The second is the evaluation system,and there is no effective tool to find a reasonable intervention in architectural color research.In view of the emotional needs of the color transformation of buildings,this paper takes Kuangdaxuefu Street as the research object,combines the relevant theories of experimental psychology,and combines the virtual reality technology with the questionnaire to carry out the construction of buildings.Face color psychology perception experiment,using data software to quantitatively analyze the correlation relationship between the color features of the building facade and psychological perception,and established a building color evaluation method based on color psychology application.After researching the architectural color of the research object and the surrounding environment in the early stage of the research,a colorless model with the typical spatial form,spatial combination relationship,and the basic elements of the facade of the Kuangdaxuefu Street was extracted to facilitate the subsequent implantation of other color schemes.After extracting and analyzing the color and color matching patterns of the outstanding retrofitting building facades in Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai and Nanjing,etc.,two architectural color physical indexes affecting the color of the facades of retrofitting buildings and the three architectural color matching modes commonly used in the color design of old building facades were extracted.The color and color matching patterns of the 16 building facades that were implanted in the prime model of Kuangdaxuefu Street to form 16 color scene models.In the early stage of the architectural color experiment,a questionnaire was used to select the architectural color sense intentional words and construct a architectural color psychological evaluation semantic scale,and 16 color scene models were brought into the virtual reality device.Combined with the SD semantic scale method,54 college students undertook architectural color simulation experiments.In the later period,the experimental data was analyzed by SPSS professional data software,and the conclusion was drawn that the relationship between the physical indicators of the color in the building transformation facade and the multiple color psychological perception and the regression relationship.And it has formed a kind of evaluation method of color design in the building transformation facade based on the application of color psychology.
