Spatial Pattern Evolution Of Rural Settlements In Guilin And Its Influencing Factors

With the acceleration of the socialist process and the deepening of new urbanization,the evolution of traditional rural settlement space in China is intensifying and presents new characteristics.With the development of society,some rural settlements are faced with the situation of wasteland or random development and construction,leading to the final evolution of the spatial pattern of rural settlements into another development stage.Rural settlements become meaningful because they bear the activities of rural population.It is of great significance to study the evolution characteristics of the spatial pattern of rural settlements in Guilin to grasp its process and characteristics and enrich the geographical information of rural settlements.At the same time,the study of the factors influencing the spatial pattern of rural settlements in Guilin can better reveal the relationship between the formation of rural settlements in Guilin and the environment and society,which has a positive impact on guiding the rational planning and sustainable development of rural settlements in Guilin.Guilin,located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,is composed of complex natural geographical environment and diverse regional communities under the joint action of nature and society.The particularity of the regional environment of guilin,the author of this paper,from the geography,ecology,landscape architecture and other multidisciplinary cross Angle,at the same time introduced the GIS technology and landscape index analysis method and so on a variety of quantitative methods,analyzes the spatial pattern of rural settlements and interpretation,1996,2006,2018 three time node,in guilin as the research scope,in rural settlements in guilin as the research object,contains the characteristic of the spatial pattern of land use evolution,the density of space,space scale,spatial agglomeration features and carry out specific analysis on influencing factors such as Angle,The influencing factors of rural settlements in Guilin include the natural factors of elevation,slope and hydrology,as well as the socio-economic factors of road traffic,economy and population on the spatial pattern of rural settlements.Finally,this paper uses AHP to give weight to the impact factors of rural settlements in Guilin by expert rating,evaluates the suitability of rural settlements in Guilin,and obtains five types of suitability according to the score,and puts forward regulation suggestions and implementation methods in combination with the spatial regulation principles of rural settlements.Through the above analysis,it is expected to provide more specific characteristics of spatial pattern evolution of rural settlements in Guilin,excavate the law of spatial pattern evolution of rural settlements in Guilin,and promote the construction and development of rural settlements in Guilin.The paper draws the following conclusions:(1)learn from guilin rural settlements land use evolution analysis,in the city land use types from 1996 to 2018,the change of urban construction,the biggest growth was 41.59%,and the land for rural settlements in guilin is also in constant development,but not increase,the expansion of rural settlements land mainly by farmland conversion,at the same time in the process of transformation led to the generation of bare land.Landscape index analysis showed that the average patch area of rural settlements increased year by year in every district and county of Guilin.The landscape shape index showed valley value and peak value,which indicated that the rural settlement shape was unstable in Guilin.The integration index increased year by year,indicating that the overall connectivity of rural settlements in Guilin was gradually enhanced.The degree of separation index decreased year by year,indicating that the overall degree of dispersion of rural settlements in Guilin decreased.The agglomeration index increases year by year,indicating that the distribution trend of rural settlements in Guilin is becoming more and more concentrated.(2)learn from guilin rural settlement space density evolution analysis,in guilin city from 1996 to 2018,the rural settlement spatial density ",between north and south in thin " general spatial density features of the spatial density differences with the increase of time,rural settlements are mainly distributed in the dense core ling chuan county,due to the good location,near the town land presented based on the original rural settlements outward expansion trend.(3)in the analysis of the evolution of rural settlement space scale in guilin,guilin will be the rural settlement area is divided into single family settlements,large-scale,medium and small settlement settlement and according to the analysis that guilin courtyard in settlement of settlement plaque quantity significantly lower than the medium and small groups,and large groups,but the size difference in reducing over time;On the other hand,with the passage of time,the number of rural settlements decreased significantly while the size of settlements increased significantly.(4)The evolution characteristics of spatial agglomeration of rural settlements in Guilin indicate that the spatial agglomeration and distribution characteristics of rural settlements in Guilin are obvious.The global Moran’s I index of rural settlements in 2018 is greater than that in 1996,indicating that the spatial agglomeration degree of rural settlements in 2018 is significantly higher than that in 1996.Local spatial autocorrelation analysis shows that from 1996 to 2018,the cold spots of rural settlements in Guilin gradually transform into hot spots.Meanwhile,the distribution of cold and hot spots of rural settlements is significantly different.The northern part of Guilin presents a small high-density distribution feature,while the southern part presents a large high-density distribution feature.(5)In the evolution analysis of influencing factors of spatial layout of rural settlements in Guilin City,elevation,slope,water system,road,economy and population influencing factors are selected for analysis.The results show that the geomorphic features have a significant influence on the spatial distribution of rural settlements.The gentler the slope and the lower the elevation,the denser the rural settlements and the larger the area they occupy.Rural settlements are distributed around rivers and roads,and both the scale and number of rural settlements decrease with the increase of water system and road buffer distance.Social and economic development and the number of population also have a significant impact on the rural settlements in Guilin City,which is manifested in that with the improvement of the level of economic development and the increase of the number of population,the scale and distribution of rural settlements become larger and larger.(6)through the rural settlement spatial pattern evolution in guilin and different influence factors on the spatial distribution of rural settlements and development were analyzed,and a more reasonable distribution of rural settlements in guilin can use AHP analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to select reasonable and can reflect the effects of structure factors,single factor classification evaluation and weighted appropriate evaluation.Arc GIS10.2 was used to make spatial superposition of the scores of influencing factors,and the comprehensive scores were divided into different suitability levels by the natural breakpoint method.Finally,the evaluation results were analyzed and constructive suggestions were made.
