Agricultural problem has always been a fundamental problem in China, and rural settlements are an important spatial carrier of agricultural problems, and the related research of rural settlements is an eternal research focus for the development of the country. How to make rational use of rural settlement space and how to solve the contradiction between man and land in order to achieve the goal of high-quality development of rural settlement space, and then ensure food security has become the focus of current rural construction. This study combs and analyzes the existing studies, and finds that most of the existing studies are concerned with the optimization of rural spatial form and the contradiction between man and land.In view of this, this paper aims to promote the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas and provide theoretical basis for formulating planning strategies that are more suitable for rural development laws.It selects 384 administrative villages in Yushu area as research examples, hoping to find out the problems of village environmental construction and development under the influence of different human-land relationships through comprehensive and in-depth sample anatomy research.Through the methods of data induction and field investigation, this paper sorts out the manifestations of the relationship between man and land in different periods and the present situation, extracts the main factors that affect the spatial form of rural settlements in this area, such as social factors, economic factors and policy factors, summarizes the typical types of the relationship between man and land and the corresponding spatial environment influence laws, and analyzes the evolution mechanism of various types of rural settlements;Further, through data analysis and analytic hierarchy process(AHP),based on the current spatial form, the rural settlements in yushu city are divided into three types of spatial forms: lump, strip and point. On this basis, the most important influencing factors are selected and evaluated by AHP,and a spatial evaluation system of rural settlements is established, based on which some suggestions are made for the future development of rural settlements.Based on the above analysis, the three spatial forms of the present situation are summarized as follows: rural settlements with independent mode of human and land, rural settlements with separated mode of human and land, and rural settlements with dependent mode of human and land. And according to different modes of rural settlements, summarize their main problems, put forward optimization strategies, realize differentiated guidance, and gradually develop into a better mode of coordination between people and land. Finally, the optimization strategy of the layout of plain agricultural villages is put forward from point to point, and the scattered settlement space is integrated to optimize the living environment and promote land transfer,so as to realize the joint production of rural settlements and ensure food security and rural sustainable development.
