Research On The Protection And Renewal Of Historic District From The Perspective Of Community Building

With the enhancement of the concept of historical and cultural heritage protection,historical and cultural district,as a living heritage,have both material and cultural relics,and residents live in them.They contain rich intangible culture,which is not only a cultural heritage,but also a city community,and are concerned by more and more people.In order to protect the historical heritage and improve the quality of life of residents,the protection and renewal of historic district are carried out,but there are some problems,such as the lack of public participation in the process and the lack of motivation in the later development.Community building is a process of using community resources,mobilizing various forces,promoting community residents to actively participate in community affairs,and promoting the sustainable development of the community.The application of community building theory to the protection and renewal of historic district can effectively alleviate the existing difficulties.On the basis of combing the research status of the protection and renewal of historical and cultural district from the perspective of community building,this paper analyzes the development process,content methods and relevant cases of community building,clarifies the process of community building,and obtains the experience and enlightenment.Combining the planning requirements for the protection of historical and cultural district with the theory of community building,a theoretical framework covering "people,region,landscape,culture and industry" is constructed,in which "people" covers the government,enterprises,professional teams,community organizations,residents and tourists,while " region " mainly includes buildings(structures),historical environment elements and traditional street pattern,"landscape" includes landscape environment and living environment,"culture" mainly considers intangible cultural resources,"production" includes original industry and potential industry.And put forward the corresponding strategies,including the residents’ demand survey,the cultivation of participation consciousness,the continuation and activation of traditional material space,the optimization of landscape environment,the improvement of living environment,the continuation of non-material memory elements,and the coordinated development of industry.Finally,taking the Nanshijie historic district as an example,this paper analyzes the basic situation of location,historical evolution,land use,the status quo of "people,region,landscape,culture and industry ",and the comprehensive value of history,art,science,society and culture.It is found that there are some problems in Nanshijie district,such as lack of protection of historical relics,low utilization rate,destruction of historical and traditional features,and urgent repair of residential buildings,the problem of unsound infrastructure.The goal of protection and renewal of Nanshijie block is determined as residents’ participation in the whole process and maintaining the sustainable development of the block.According to the compilation method,criteria and community building theory,the principles of authenticity,integrity,sustainable development,people-oriented and multi-party participation are followed.Combined with the residents’ wishes and the upper planning requirements,the positioning of the block is determined as "residential cultural area with residential function as the main function and supplemented by cultural display experience".The strategy framework is used to guide the protection and renewal of Nanshijie block.It is proposed that through the combination of "people" and "region,landscape,culture and industry" public affairs,the cultivation of residents’ participation consciousness,the elements of architecture,historical environment,and cultural environment can be realized Traditional street pattern,material space protection and activation,landscape environment optimization and living environment improvement,cultural inheritance and development,the formation of cultural education,folk culture display experience area,promote the specific measures of industrial activation and development.
