Colleges and universities are important places for educating people and spreading knowledge.The beautiful campus landscape is an important place for college students to carry out campus life.With the development of social economy and the expansion of the scale of colleges and universities,colleges and universities put forward new teaching methods to adapt to the development of society and put forward new requirements for the construction of campus environment,Therefore,the construction of campus landscape renewal is inevitable.The campus central landscape is the representative landscape space in the campus environment,which contains rich landscape elements.While providing a beautiful environment for teachers and students,it represents the overall style and image of a university to a certain extent,and becomes the display window of campus culture,The renewal of the campus central landscape is often concerned by the majority of teachers and students and the community,and the school leaders attach great importance to it.Landscape renewal is a continuous cycle of "construction use evaluation renewal construction".Post use evaluation(POE)is of great significance for landscape renewal.Post use evaluation collects users’ use data for the site,summarizes the current situation of each element of the site,and through the analysis of the use data,makes it easier for designers to find the problems in the site,and puts forward the update strategy that is more in line with the needs of users.Therefore,this paper uses the post use evaluation method to collect the use data of teachers and students for the updated campus central landscape,and puts forward the strategies for further updating the campus central landscape.Based on the theory of landscape architecture planning and design,combined with the knowledge of campus landscape planning and design,landscape renewal and Poe,this paper summarizes the contents of university landscape renewal,University Campus central landscape,Poe evaluation of various urban public space from the relevant literature at home and abroad,The characteristics of campus central landscape are diverse layout forms and concentrated landscape resources.The common strategy of university landscape renewal is to refine campus culture and shape material form.The commonly used evaluation methods of urban public space Poe are AHP method and SBE method.The commonly used index factors include topography,plant landscape,road traffic,etc Management and maintenance,etc.,to provide theoretical and methodological support for the status quo research content and the determination of Poe evaluation index of campus central landscape.At present,many colleges and universities in Chongqing have carried out the renewal of campus central landscape.Based on the principles of differences and characteristics,this study selected 8 updated campus central landscapes from 5 colleges and universities in Chongqing,and investigated the general situation,plant configuration,water landscape,traffic flow line,landscape architecture and sketches,service facilities,etc,From the above six aspects,this paper evaluates the use of the campus central landscape after the renewal of Chongqing universities,and obtains the following research results: the characteristics of the current situation of the campus central landscape of Chongqing universities are rich in topographic changes;the landscape of the campus central landscape of Chongqing universities is rich in landscape changes;The layout forms are various;Strong cultural atmosphere,mainly campus culture and traditional Chinese culture;The plant landscape has its own characteristics.Different types of central landscape have different plant configuration forms.The garden and waterscape central landscape configuration forms tend to be natural.The square central landscape forms symmetrical plant landscape in the form of opposite plants and row plants;The form of water landscape is natural lake or artificial pool;The design of traffic flow line is smooth and clear;There are many kinds of landscape architecture and sketches.The main types of landscape architecture are pavilions and corridors,and the main types of landscape sketches are cultural sculptures;There are various forms of service facilities.At the same time,there are some problems in the current situation of the central landscape: the late maintenance and management of plants are not in place,and the growth is disordered;The water landscape quality is poor and visibility is not high;The width of some walking roads in the traffic flow line is too narrow,which affects the use and damages the pavement materials;Insufficient maintenance of landscape architecture and sketches,and damaged materials;The current situation of service facilities is uneven,and the service function is not perfect.By calculating the index data of six aspects and analyzing their features in functional characteristics,landscape space and visitors’ use,it is concluded that the weight order of each index is a general situation,B plant configuration,D traffic flow line,C water landscape,e landscape architecture and sketch,f service facilities,and the index scores of eight research objects are obtained by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,The highest score is the Sanchun lake of Chongqing Normal University,and the lowest is the landscape in front of the three teachers of Chongqing University of Posts and telecommunications.Through the comparative analysis of tourists’ demand and satisfaction,it is concluded that the average satisfaction of most factors is higher than tourists’ demand,and there is a big gap between some functional or service elements and tourists’ demand.Through the comparison of the two,it provides a more scientific basis for the strategy of campus center landscape renewal in Chongqing.Combined with the theoretical basis,field investigation data and Poe evaluation results,the paper puts forward the principles of campus center landscape renewal design.By analyzing the characteristics of Chongqing University Campus Center landscape renewal,it explores the reasonable way of university landscape organic renewal,and puts forward the universal renewal strategy from the aspects of ecology,aesthetics,functionality and characteristics,Based on the advantages of the current site,this paper extracts the renewal methods that can be used for reference,analyzes them comprehensively,and puts forward the universal campus center landscape renewal design strategy from the aspects of site function optimization,campus culture inheritance,protection and utilization of landscape elements,improvement of traffic flow lines and service facilities,and aesthetic promotion.
