China’s higher education has entered the important stage of mass education from the development of elite education,and has brought enormous development resources to colleges and universities.The number of institutions of higher learning that have officially filed enrollment in China has reached 2,914.With the expansion of colleges and universities,the whole country has used this opportunity to build university towns and cultural and educational districts.At present,there are more than 50 university towns planned and constructed in China,involving 21 provinces and cities.University cities have become an important part of the city.Form and function layout.Under the background of education industrialization and logistics socialization,China’s university town planning and construction clearly put forward the concept of openness and sharing,but the newly built campus and city are two different community networks,each with different functions.Structure and material form,and university campuses often separate from the city in the form of walls in order to maintain their own security.This closed management model is already contradictory to the new era university campus planning concept of resource sharing and mutual benefit.Therefore,this paper introduces the concept of “edge influence domain”,and studies the influence range of university city campus to city from the perspective of marginal space.Based on the update theory,it is based on four levels: open node,boundary line,edge buffer and edge affected area.The systematic study of the optimization elements of the city is intended to find the law of such space and provide theoretical support for the spatial transformation strategy of the university’s campus edge influence domain.The research in this paper is based on the extensive reading and combing of various related literatures.The research on the marginal space of Chongqing University and Chongqing Academy of Fine Arts in Huxi University City in Chongqing is conducted in depth and combined with relevant campus boundaries.The design case of space is based on the theory of organic renewal,and takes the edge influence domain as the perspective to extract the spatial and functional characteristics of the influence area of the campus city campus.Then,the survey data is evaluated,and the correlation between the spatial evaluation system and the effect of the affected area is established to obtain a spatial effectiveness evaluation system,and the degree of organic renewal of the affected area is evaluated.According to the space effectiveness evaluation system,the optimization strategy of the university city campus edge from the spatial symbiosis and function mixture is proposed.Finally,a practical demonstration was carried out in conjunction with the relevant joint design teaching project that the author participated in.
