Research On Organic Renewal Of Campus Public Space In Yuquan Campus Of Zhejiang University

After years of development,there are some problems in the campus environment of Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University.From the perspective of the improvement of campus public space,the research explores the organic renewal strategy to establish a benign campus environmental order.The paper discusses in the logical order of raising questions,theoretical research,analyzing problems and solving problems.In the first chapter of raising questions and the second chapter of theoretical research,we first defined the concept and scope of research,and combed the development process,types,organizational levels,characteristics,overall design and activity types of campus public space.Deepen the understanding of campus public space through domestic and foreign case studies,and summarize the principles of organic renewal.The third chapter analyzes the problems and introduces the history,current situation and urban environment of Yuquan Campus.Then,by introducing the urban design theory,the public space of Yuquan Campus is divided into four axes and organized into a system to analyze and evaluate one by one,and the problems and needs are obtained by combining the questionnaire survey.In addition,it is pointed out that the factors affecting the renewal of public space in Yuquan Campus include the development planning of the future campus,traffic and parking,and the intensification of campus development,which provides a practical basis for the follow-up strategy research.The fourth and fifth chapters solve the problem,divide the public space of Yuquan Campus into two parts: public space of traffic roads and public space of communication activities,and propose renewal strategies respectively.In the public space of traffic roads,the goal is to improve the walking environment,optimize campus parking and traffic,and reduce the contradiction between people and vehicles;The renewal of public space for communication activities includes the optimization of the overall organization and the promotion of local areas;Finally,the sample nodes are selected to propose a detailed optimization scheme.To sum up,this paper discusses the importance of organic renewal from the perspective of campus public space,summarizes the research content and process of campus public space,proposes the organic renewal strategy of Yuquan campus public space,and expects to provide valuable reference for other university campus environmental governance.
