The PWM rectifier can realize the characteristics of grid-side current sinusization,two-way energy transmission,and operation at unit power factor,etc.Traditional PWM voltage source rectifier has many defects,for example,the DC side requires a larger filter capacitor,this will lead to increased costs,losses,and volume.Traditional voltage source PWM rectifiers on the DC output side can only be boosted,not reduced,traditional current source PWM rectifiers can only be buck,neither of these two types of rectifiers can be used in applications where the output voltage range is wide.Therefore,a topology that can solve the above problems at the same time has a better application prospects.The three-phase voltage source Cuk rectifier proposed in this paper,based on the traditional PWM voltage source rectifier circuit,the Cuk circuit is integrated with it as a subsequent stage,and an inductance in the Cuk circuit is multiplexed with the AC side inductance.Therefore,this circuit also combines the advantages of a voltage source rectifier and a Cuk converter,the output range of the DC side of the circuit becomes wider,which can not only realize the boost conversion but also the buck conversion.The capacitors used in the circuit are small,all capacitors used in the rectifier are non-electrolytic capacitors,can reduce costs.There is no diode on the DC bus on the DC side of the rectifier,so that the system energy flows in both directions,and basic realization of unit power factor,broaden the application requirements of the circuit in various occasions.This paper describes the commutation process of the whole circuit in detail,using formula derivation to verify the possibility of buck-boost of the circuit,and use simulation to confirm.Select appropriate parameters to mathematically derive the three-phase voltage source Cuk rectifier,Design regulator parameters and conduct closed-loop simulation verificationOn the basis of theoretical foundation and simulation verification,finally,the experimental prototype is built.The open-loop and closed-loop experiments,verifing the feasibility of the rectifier and the correctness of the inference.
