Pointer analog meters are the main means of obtaining equipment parameters and monitoring operation status in industrial workshop.Its excellent stability and anti-interference ability make it an indispensable tool in traditional industry with harsh operating environment.However,analog meters cannot be used on a large scale due to problems that the artificial reading of the analog meter is low efficiency,large errors,many limiting factors,and large safety hazard.Therefore,the automatic reading of the pointer analog dial has become an urgent problem in the industry.In order to meet the requirements of industrial production for high precision and high efficiency,and considering the lightweight portability of practical application,This thesis researches the analog dial intelligent recognition system based on the embedded platform AM5728,and realizes the full automatic reading of the analog pointer meter.Firstly,the embedded industrial image acquisition and display system based on AM5728 is studied.In terms of hardware,according to the type of industrial camera output interface and AM5728 platform resources,the PCB design and debugging of the Camera Link video capture card based on FPGA-Cyclone IV has been completed.In terms of software,combining the output data format of the camera and the media format supported by the embedded platform,an FPGA capture card conversion program from Bayer to BT.1120 format is designed.The Camera Link capture card driver of AM5728 platform is designed using V4L2 and VIP driver framework.Finally,the real-time acquisition and transmission of high-definition video are realized.Secondly,it studies the algorithm flow of the analog dial recognition algorithm,and puts forward the shortcomings of the existing algorithms and innovative solutions for the subject.The feature region extraction algorithm of analog dial is introduced in detail,and the 2D Otsu threshold segmentation algorithm based on neighborhood search JADE and the center location method based on Hough circle detection combined with the intersection point compensation of scale line are proposed.In order to improve the reading accuracy,the "Two Point One Line" pointer reading method is proposed.Finally,the angle method is used to calculate the pointer reading.Finally,the realization scheme of the analog dial recognition system based on the heterogeneous platform AM5728 and the optimization of algorithm performance are studied.In order to run all function modules on embedded platform,this thesis introduces the transplantation method of open source algorithm library and RT3070 series wireless network card.It focuses on the user software development of the analog dial recognition system developed based on QT5+Opencv,including the UI interface design,function description and cloud server construction.After all functions are implemented,the Open CL heterogeneous platform parallel programming standard is used to accelerate the recognition algorithm.Finally,through the actual test experiment,the algorithm accuracy,reading accuracy and running performance of the whole system are verified.The results show that the pointer analog dial intelligent recognition system based on the embedded platform AM5728 has unique advantages in precision,operation efficiency,versatility and portability,which has great industrial application value.
