The railway is exposed to natural environment,thus trains may encounter floods,debris flows,landslides and other natural disasters in some sections.Once an accident occurs,it will greatly threaten the safety of passengers’ lives and property,as well as railway operation security,which will bring disastrous consequences to passengers and trains.So,a railway integrated video surveillance system is required for monitoring and early warning,to ensure the safe operation of railway trains,and to provide technical support for railway transportation production and public security management.In general,the video capture device serves as the front-end acquisition device of the railway integrated surveillance video system,with a large amount of usage,high cost,meanwhile most of them can only collect and transmit video images,do not possess real-time display,motion object recognition and other functions.Then,for small stations,with its huge organization structure,railway integrated surveillance video system is not easy to simplify and also costly.Therefore,it is of important practical significance and application value to design a video capture system,which can not only realize real-time display and the recognition of moving objects,but also make the system more flexible and concise,with lower cost and smooth and reliable communication.First,this paper analyzes the functional requirements and performance requirements of the video acquisition system of the railway section,puts forward the overall framework of the system,compares and analyzes the system hardware and software platform,and puts forward the hardware platform with S3C6410 as the core processor and the software platform with U-Boot and Linux as the core.Second,it focuses on the software platform porting technology.Based on the analysis of the production process of the U-Boot executable image and the startup process,the porting technology of U-Boot software suitable for the hardware platform is studied.On the basis of the analysis of the Linux executable image production process and the kernel startup process,the Linux kernel porting technology matching the hardware platform is studied,and the production of the root file system is discussed.Then,the UART driver,USB camera driver,network card driver and alarm driver of video capture system are analyzed and ported.Next,the boa applications,video acquisition applications and video transmission applications are developed,and the video surveillance application based on VC2010 and OpenCV are developed,including the video frame receiving,video frame displaying andvideo frame processing application,alarm application.Finally,the algorithm of moving object recognition is studied,and the application program of moving object recognition is developed.In this paper,based on the research and development of video capture device,the equipment is tested.First,the test environment is configured.Second,the device system software was tested,including u-boot,Linux kernel and root file system,and then the device USB camera and network card driver were tested as well.Finally,the boa application,real-time transmission,remote monitoring,image processing,motion object detection,alarm and other functions are tested.The results show that the video capture runs well and meets the requirements of the design.
