In the urban environment where land resources are becoming more and more tense in our country,a large number of intensive construction of high-rise residential buildings has led to a reduction in the quality of living,and residents have less space for public activities in residential areas.Due to the uncomfortable summer thermal environment in Chongqing,residents of high-rise residential buildings tend to move in sheltered spaces such as the low-level empty floor;however,the thermal environment of the low-level empty space is not completely comfortable,and may even affect people due to its thermal environment Frequency of outdoor activities.At present,a large number of built high-rise residential buildings do not fully consider the space quality of the overhead floors,resulting in a low utilization rate of a large number of empty floors or even vacant.In recent years,the country attaches great importance to the improvement of the human settlement environment and requires the improvement of the quality of the public space in the residential area.However,my country currently lacks systematic theoretical research and related design specifications for the thermal environment of the low-rise residential space.In fact,thermal comfort is the most important condition for improving the satisfaction of indoor and outdoor environments.If the issue of thermal comfort can be fully considered in the design of overhead floors,it will greatly improve the quality of public spaces in high-rise residential areas and increase residents’ outdoor activities in summer.Frequency,and further improve the living environment.First of all,the article structured the research background,purpose,significance,general ideas and specific methods of the summer thermal comfort of the empty space of high-rise residential buildings in Chongqing.Then,through the existing domestic and foreign research documents and specifications related to overhead floors and thermal comfort,the relevant design elements that affect the thermal comfort of the empty floors are refined,and then the architectural design elements that affect the thermal comfort of the low-level overhead floors of high-rise residential buildings are further screened for this article.Research elements.Secondly,on the basis of the above,through the actual investigation of the low-level empty space of the high-rise residential buildings in Chongqing area,the present situation of the design of the low-level empty space of the high-rise residential buildings in Chongqing is summarized and analyzed,and the summer thermal environment is interviewed and subjective questionnaire evaluation.The thermal environment of the low-level empty space in two of the high-rise residential areas was measured.The summer thermal environment and characteristics of the low-level empty space in Chongqing’s high-rise residential areas were further studied,and objective evaluations and reflections were made.Then combined with the measured data and the subjective evaluation questionnaire results,a regression model of SET* value and subjective evaluation was established,and an attempt was made to construct a summer thermal comfort evaluation system for the upper floors of high-rise residential areas in Chongqing.Thirdly,based on the results of field investigations and the design elements of the empty floors as variables,different simplified models were established,and the thermal environment simulation was carried out with the ENVI-met simulation software.Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the simulation results through the above-mentioned evaluation system,the design elements that specifically affect the thermal environment of the ground floor empty space of high-rise residential buildings and their optimization methods are put forward.Finally,based on theoretical research,field research,and software simulation research,the article summarizes design strategies that are conducive to improving the summer thermal comfort of high-rise residential areas in Chongqing,and combines it with the completed Shapingba Sunshine City project for application testing.Finally,it summarizes the main research conclusions and main research results of the paper,and puts forward the limitations of the research and the prospects for future research directions.
