With the continuous advancement of the policy of parity grid-connected,all renewable onshore wind power projects in our country have to achieve parity grid-connected from 2021.Therefore,the problem how to reduce the cost per kilowatt-hour of wind power construction projects becomes a key concern of the industry.Consequently,it is necessary to improve the design precision in wind power construction projects to reduce the investment cost.However,recent substation location optimization mostly focuses on small wind farms,and there is no research on the optimization of multiple substation locations or even convergence substation locations in the application scenarios of large wind farm.To solve these problems,this dissertation takes the large wind farm as the research object,analyzes its electrical system structure in depth,designs the optimization method of the large wind farm substation location,and completes the verification of the proposed method in the calculation example.The main contributions are as follows:Firstly,the method of selecting the location of the substation in the engineering application and the domestic and foreign research status of the optimization of substations location are analyzed,meanwhile,the research significance of optimization substations location under the scenario of a large wind farm is elaborated.Secondly,we analyzed the whole structure of the electrical system of the wind power base from the perspective of topological connection,the design content of the collection line and the substation and the location principle and the location process of the substation according to the electrical design principles.In addition,based on the proposed electrical structure of the wind power base collection system,we principally analyzed the calculation method of the length of the collection line,the method of constant capacity of the substations,and the calculation method of the construction of the approach road of the substation are proposed,and the feasibility and applicability of the mentioned method.Combined with the proposed method,we elaborated the economic evaluation model for the optimization of the location of the substations of a large wind power base based on the cost of the collection line,the cost of the substation,and the cost of the substations approach road.Then,based on the mean clustering algorithm,a method for optimizing the location of the substation of a large wind farm is proposed.This method first makes use of different division methods to group the wind turbines according to the location of the substation,and then designs the collection lines for each wind turbine grouping scheme.On the basis of determining the optimal collection lines design plan,combined with the proposed economic evaluation model,the loaction plan of the substation in the wind farm is optimized.The method is also based on the mean clustering algorithm,combined with the particle swarm algorithm,differential evolution particle swarm algorithm,and vertical and horizontal cross algorithm to optimize the location of the substation of the large wind farm.Finally,the Python programming language is used to compile the method into code,and a calculation example is combined to verify the feasibility of the method for optimizing the location of the substation of the large wind farm described in this dissertation.The mentioned method provides a reference method for the location of substations development projects in large wind farms for the joint training company,Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co.Ltd.
